Also considering there is many evidence that the verse is light speed it is okay to treat every beam of light as light speed and i think in one the latest chapter biban attack is described an attack that is faster the a beam of light is it okay to make them ftl by using that as justification

So since the real world is canonically a higher dimension compared to satisfy then reality equalization standards for this stuff would allow something like the players immortality (type 9 but not really combat applicable) to be from a low 1-C source.

Still atleast FTL then since it happened in a short timeframe which can be assume to be 5-10 seconds

the attack speed if we consider it to be around 7 seconds it would be easily FTL+ but dodging it requires an actual distance between the attack and the target and how much the target moved which as a novel its pretty unclear.
Anyways this wouldnt work well unless we can get a much more clear timeframe

And the low ball for the dodging is likely much lower than you expect. This is a fight between a human and a dragon that is as big as a mountain, we now the target it's at least far enough to not be in reach for the dragon's physical attacks, that would place him at least near 100 meters distance from the dragon's mouth, with that distance it would probably be lower than the speed of light.
