Overgeared Resurrection: Overgeared Discussion and Feat Compilation Thread.

To calculate the amount of energy required to freeze the continental masses to a temperature of -196°C, we can use the specific heat capacity of water and the latent heat of fusion of water.

Assuming the entire volume of water in the continental masses is at a temperature of 0°C and we want to freeze it to -196°C, we need to:

  1. Lower the temperature of the water from 0°C to -100°C (-196°C/2) using the specific heat capacity of water, which is 4.18 Joules per gram per degree Celsius. The energy required for this process would be: Energy = mass x specific heat capacity x temperature difference Assuming the continental masses contain approximately 1.3 billion cubic kilometers (1.3 x 10^21 liters) of water, which has a mass of approximately 1.3 x 10^24 grams, the energy required would be:
Energy = (1.3 x 10^24 g) x (4.18 J/g°C) x (100°C) Energy = 5.44 x 10^27 Joules

  1. Freeze the water from -100°C to -196°C using the latent heat of fusion of water, which is 334 Joules per gram. The energy required for this process would be: Energy = mass x latent heat of fusion Using the same mass of water as before, the energy required would be:
Energy = (1.3 x 10^24 g) x (334 J/g) Energy = 4.34 x 10^26 Joules

Therefore, the total energy required to freeze the continental masses to a temperature of -196°C would be the sum of the energy required for step 1 and step 2, which is approximately:

Total energy = 5.44 x 10^27 Joules + 4.34 x 10^26 Joules Total energy = 5.87 x 10^27 Joules

Please note that this calculation is based on several assumptions and estimates, and actual values may vary depending on various factors.

Continents in this are same size as earth however.
Freezing a continental mass with a 12756 km diameter (which is roughly the diameter of Earth) to a temperature of -196ºC would require an enormous amount of energy. To calculate the amount of energy required, we can use the following formula:

Q = mcΔT

where Q is the amount of energy required, m is the mass of the continental mass, c is the specific heat capacity of the material composing the continental mass, and ΔT is the change in temperature required (in Kelvin).

Assuming the continental mass has a uniform density similar to that of Earth, its mass would be approximately 5.97 x 10^24 kg. The specific heat capacity of Earth's crust is roughly 800 J/(kg·K), so we can use that as an estimate for the specific heat capacity of the continental mass.

To freeze the continental mass from an average temperature of around 15°C (288 K) to a temperature of -196°C (77 K), we would need to lower its temperature by 211 K.

Putting these values into the formula, we get:

Q = (5.97 x 10^24 kg) x (800 J/(kg·K)) x (211 K)

Q ≈ 1.6 x 10^30 J

So, it would require an immense amount of energy, approximately 1.6 x 10^30 joules (Tier 5-C), to freeze a continental mass with a 12756 km diameter to a temperature of -196ºC. To put that into perspective, that's more energy than the total energy output of the sun in one second!

What hax/s do the epics fall under?
game mechanics its not really a power its just the game describing his actions, if you want i guess this could give others enchanted senses or something because NPC's that are transcendent of above can hear the epics somehow.

Epic 1 transformed (Braham's Favor) Great Swordsman Pagma's Swordsmanship into Grid's Swordsmanship and also allowed skill creation. + buff
Epic 2 helped with relations gave a title and titles give buffs or skills;
Epic 3 got formless Will, I don't know if it was telepathy with Braham and shumpo upgrade;
Epic 4 buffs;
Epic 5 Skill Synthesis (the fogotten one);
Epic 6 gave Oral Traditions;
Epic 7 buffs;
Epic 8 buffs;
Epic 9 gave a skill and buffed all Pagma's works;
...

I was reading the chapter summaries and it seems that Grid got the ability to ignore the system restrictions. What hax or resistance to a hax would that be if this is the case?

88 - 2

[The <Core that has existed since the Beginning> senses your powerful desire.] [Do you want your wish to be granted?]

88 - 3

[Player 'Grid' has used REX-001001.]
REX-001001. Director of Operations Yoon Sangmin knows what the codename means. A core that has existed since the beginning of time. Everyone is alerted. Morpheus gave a 23.9% probability that Grid would try to resurrect the dead with the wish stone.
A very legitimate guess as it used Khan and former red knights as an example. Khan lost his young son even before the story began. Former members of the red knights lost their family members to Empress Marie's plot and were killed.
The SA Group members are fearful of the possibility. If the dead are resurrected, "all hell would break loose" and it is 'Harm without medicine.' Now this doesn't change the fact that it fits with Grid's personality of being greedy or acting first thinking second as well as making his people happy. But the next notification baffles them. They only mention one usage of the stone but, in principle, it could be used to make Irene immortal, obtain a mine of moon night iron, bring back the 7 Malignant Saints to their original form... These are all options as the stone responds to the wishes of the user and we all know Grid can't think of more intricate things such as making the dimensional travel from Asgard to OG World harder or, better yet, nullifying the dimensional effects of Asgard in his invasion, making it infinitely more viable.

[The wishes of player 'Grid' have no effect on Satisfy.]

Grid didn't emerge from his bedroom until the sun was high in the sky. It was the first time for Lauel, who had served Grid for so long." He keeps wondering would it could be. It can't be sex as the system sexually cripples him after a night making love beyond overnight impossible.

...

Grid reflected. Between last night and this afternoon, that was 27 times Marie Rose had passed out.

...

And finally, the sentence we have been waiting for:
"The influence of the Core that has existed since the Beginning had prevented the system from restraining him."
