So, there was a thread by Prof that was interesting. But, due to his retirement, it never took off. Hopefully I can make something just as interesting.

Story
There was a group of beings. Their purpose was to index all of fiction. For entertainment and study, they also had characters fight to the death, undoing any ill effects this would have to their own universes. Even those who saw dimensionless reality as a dream were immensely below them. Truly, there was nothing above them. Or so they thought. Some say that the entities humored the attempt and sent avatars downward. Some say that they were truly effected and that nothing was above all others. Regardless of the true effects of their crusade, the being responsible went on a multiversal genocide, killing all who wished for order. Then, they fused the entire multiverse together into one immeasurably large universe, with themselves at the center of it all, above it all. The spirits of the departed, wishing for order and light, came to the beings. While it was irrelevantly small, the beings still had a small fraction of their power left. This allowed them to fuse one of the spirits with their bodies, and allowing them to psudo-physically manifest them. This also gave them one ability, so that they could fight even without the spirit. With no memories of their past existence, the entities moved to the center or reality to restore order to the multiverse.

Character Creation
You can choose a page on the wiki for a Character Spirit, a character that can be manifested in and outside of combat to fight alongside you.

Basically, I decided to do something different. In this RP, the AP of the character you choose doesn't matter, only the abilities. Speed will also be more or less equalized. But, characters who are considered stronger or faster than characters in their own universe will be as such in this. Basically fast characters are fast and strong characters are strong, just not to the point of blitzing or OHKOing.

Obviously, the character you choose shouldn't have broken hax. That's a standard at this point.

As for the mechanics, you can summon the character to fight alongside you. Their attack range is the range they can go away from you. The minimum range is three meters and the maximum range is four kilometers, if the character's range is less or more then that they will go to the minimum or maximum respectively. They still have their own personality, but depending on their personality they will be more or less willing to take orders from you. No matter what, though, they will attempt to protect you, as if you die they do as well.

I'll also introduce some game mechanics to up the tension a bit. Dying can happen. But, it's not permanent. If you "die", you come back after the battle with critical health. I'd recommend somebody uses a healer as their character or gives themselves healing, as outside of combat healing is more or less free.

Also, if you couldn't tell from the story, you can give yourself powers. You start with one and keep getting powers as you progress. Obviously no ridiculous hax.

Finally, if the character spirit takes damage, it doesn't reflect to you. Same vice versa. If you "die", your character spirit also does. This includes most types of incap. If your character spirit dies, then you can continue fighting on.

Character Sheet
Name: Self Explanatory

Appearance: Self Explanatory. If it's an image, link it.

Powers: What powers your character has. For now it's only one. It can be a direct link to a wiki page or it can be more complex.

Character Spirit: The character who's spirit fights alongside you. Must be 3D, but otherwise there's no tier limit. It's recommended to choose a character who at the very least dosn't actively promote chaos. Remember that AP dosn't matter, as everyone's AP starts the same and increases as the RP progresses.

Theme: Your character's musical theme. Youtube links preferred. This is, of course, optional.

Ultimate Attack: You and your Spirit Character unleash your strongest abilities at the same time and/or combo them into one another in some way. Think of it like the Special Duel Heat Attacks in Eyes of Heaven. It's incredibly powerful , but needs to be charged for a turn, during which you can't attack or defend. This can change over time as your own powers do.

Combat System
The combat system is turn based. Both you and your character spirit can attack. Pretty simple.

When it's your enemy's turn, you can block, dodge or counterattack. Blocking decreases damage, dodge avoids it entirely and counterattack deals damage to your enemy without you taking any. But each one has progressively less of a chance to work. What decides this is generally RNG stuff. Blocking has a 100% chance to work, Dodging has a 50% chance to work and Counterattacks work 25% of the time. Multiple enemies attacking you at once decreases the chances of Dodging or Counterattacking to 25% and 12.5% respectively. Ranged attacks can't be counterattacked, and Omnidirectional attacks usually can't be dodged.

If you don't post what you do within half an hour of the turn beginning of the turn (Or less depending on how fast everyone else posts for their turns), you automatically use a basic physical attack for your turn and block for the enemy's turn.

Personality: Quiet, generally calm, but will fight to the last of his power whenever necessary, cares greatly for his friends, has no issues with killing, sees it as the best way to defeat someone.

Powers: Damage Reduction, the ability is named "Immutability", passively reduces damage dealt to him by half and can expend energy to increase this reduction to 9/10ths, this ability can also be used on any object he touches as long as he remains in contact with it and the object is no larger than a building, it can work on multiple objects at once.

Character Spirit: Haseo (First key)

Ultimate Attack: They rush down the opponent and grab them while maxing out the strength of their ability, meanwhile Haseo charges an attack, they hold down the opponent and force them to take the attack head on while receiving little damage themselves.
Okashina (Kiryu2012)

Name: Okashina

Appearance: An anthropomorphic Allosaurus with a bulky, muscular build. He is purplish-blue in color, with a grayish blue underside, his tail has black stripes, his flesh and blood are light blue, and his horns are black. He stands 7 feet tall, measures 15 feet long, and weighs 730 pounds.

Age: 24

Personality: An aggressive individual that prefers to be alone. He can be protective of those he cares about, though, to the point where he'll risk his life to save their's. He shows no mercy in combat, and prefers settling disputes in battle.

Powers: Rage Power (His overall physicality increases more and more with his anger)

Character Spirit: King K. Rool

Theme: Jotaro, The Terrible Thunderlizards, EVO Boss Theme, Crocodile Cacophony

Ultimate Attack: Okashina and K. Rool both beatdown the opponent with intense ferocity, before Okashina bites the opponent's neck and thrashes them around. Okashina then tosses the opponent into the air, where K. Rool bombards them with spiked cannonballs and finishes it with a powerful punch and launches the opponent back to the ground at high speeds.
Silas Rempore (DragonEmperor23)

Name: Silas Rempore

Appearance: Like this.

Age: 17

Personality: A calm and collected person that gets excited when he's having a good fight. He cares about Justice above a good fight and will not forgive anyone who commits unspeakable crimes. The suffering of innocent people causes rage to build up inside him against those who caused it.

Powers: Accelerated Development/Reactive Power Level( Silas is able to learn and master martial arts at superhuman speeds. This learning curve is already much higher than normal but is increased even further during combat.)

Ulitimate Attack: Silas Rempore and Jin Mo-Ri Original: Falling Sky Dragon's Kick

Silas and Mori use Way of Walking to seemingly teleport around the opponent several times, barraging him with kicks and punches before using the opponent as a springboard to jump in the air. Then, Silas sets up a Silas Rempore Original: Yellow Dragon's Kick while Mori uses his Jin Mo-ri Original: Blue Dragon's Kick. The two dragons made of lightning and wind wrap around each other and collide with the enemy along with the kicks.
Gyaku Ideorgi (Junkoposter)

Name: Gyaku ideorgi.

Age: 29

Personality: Rebellious and contradictive. Is generally just kind of a bad and annoying person. Is slightly paranoid and most likely some degree's of insane.

Powers: Hate Speech: almost everyone who hears her voice instantly hates or dislikes her. Is boosted by her natural annoying personality. If she yells, it makes people violent to everyone around them, especially their leaders.

Personality: Not evil, but doesn't go out of his way to do good either. Will mostly only act when it suits or benefits him. However, he does have morals and will act against those who break it. Quiet, but open to conversations.

Powers: Gravity Manipulation (To help dodge better via shifting gravity [50% goes to 75%], make it harder for enemies to dodge by increasing gravity[50% goes to 25 %] and to attack with Gravity Bullets

Appearance: Too lazy for description. Here just give her more modern clothes. Has a mechanical exoskeleton/frame around her body.

Age: 23

Personality: Pretty wild and loves a good joke every once and a while. Is a total party girl and would love to spend her nights getting wasted and roughhousing if she had the choice. Always one to make friends instead of enemies. Greats people with a bi ol' pat on the back and a hearty laugh. Is a real Irish, with being rather blunt and to the point, and not exactly holding her tongue when she detects a buncha bullshit

Powers: Chess Mimicry. This is a bit of a doozy so it's gonna take a bit to explain. In her pocket, Loveday has all six chess pieces that would go in your standard game of chess, from a Pawn all the way to a king. She's able to grab one of these chess pieces, her exosuit would scan the chess piece, and her exosuit will build upon itself to give her a battle form. All of the chess pieces have their different strengths and weaknesses. Using these suits also uses up energy, and depending on the piece in question, that's how much energy will be used. I'll cover them all now.

Pawn: The pawn is the most weak when it comes to durability and actual attack power, but it makes up for that by delivering a flurry of attacks that are aimed specifically towards weak points, meant to apply constant pressure and to make an opponent feel overwhelmed. It has the least power usage so Loveday can stay as the Pawn suit for a very long time, but suffers from the lack of damage dealing attacks and lack of durability.

Knight: The second lowest usage and one that comes with its own "mount", the Knight is designed for mobility above all else, working on running in, getting a quick stab in, and then running away as fast as humanly possible. This is particularly good for fights with many people in it, however the Knight is terrible in close ranged combat and doesn't fair well in a one on one.

Bishop: The B1sh0p outfit is one of the more unique ones. It comes equipped with a staff that is actually used to shoot out holy projectiles at opponents, which are really just cross shaped projectiles. It's staff can be also used for close quarters combat, but it's impractical and not exactly meant for that perpose. the Bishop is porbbaly one of the most well rounded when it comes to capabilities and energy consumption, but it suffers still up close and constant use of the staff can cause it to overheat.

Rook: The Rook is designed to be a tank. It's bulky, it can take damage, it will take just about any attack thrown your way and won't be complaining anytime soon. The Rook does suffer from very little attack output, but it can use its body as a shield to protect allies if need be. The Rook does use up quite a bit of energy and is slow, however.

Queen: The queen holds her mighty scepter and is one of the most graceful and agile pieces in Loveday's arsenal. She can move in seemingly impossible ways, Loveday's body bending in ways it really shouldn't, and she can use this to avoid a multitude of attacks that head her way. The Queen is very good in one on one fights, but can be easily overwhelmed as it only has one weapons.

King: The biggest, most energy inefficient, and most powerful one, the King is only capable of dishing out a handful of attacks before using up all of the energy available to Loveday. Luckily that's all she needs, as most attacks from the King renders opponents incapable of feeling or using whatever has been directly attack. Because of the sheer power it stores, it moves slowly, but when it hits it packs a real punch!

When times are desperate, Loveday can fuse two of the chess pieces together with the acception of King and Queen, leading them to combine their pros, sometimes negating the weaknesses but also stacking the energy it consumes. This can't be done very often and is stressful on both her and the system at that point.

Character Spirit: Noodle

Theme: no

Ultimate Attack: Depends on the form. As a Pawn, Noodle and Loveday work together as a tag team to unleash a flurry of blades onto an opponent before ending it with a double punch to the face, if applicable. As a knight it results in Noodle riding the amount alongside Loveday, with Loveday slashing and Noodle shooting like some sort of drive by.

As a Priest Loveday whacks the opponent mercilessly with her staff before shooting them pointblank with her staff, before Noodle comes in and shoots a cross into their chest with a tommy gun.

As a Rook Noodle comes along and literally picked up the opponent and slams them into the massive unstoppable wall that is Loveday, breaking a bone or two before Noodle sets them down and Loveday crushing them by sitting on them.

As a Queen its a tagteam of the Queen tossing the opponent into the air, and Noodle shooting them and filling them with lead before the Queen leaps up and slams them into the ground, where Noodle is waiting to stab them with her Katana.

For the King, it involves Noodle leaping into the air, and falling down on the enemy with her sword pointed at them. Noodle stabs them and pins them to the ground before running away, where the King comes in by stomping on them once. After that, the King delivers a full force punch to the opponents...everything, depending on how small they are. The King finishes this off but smashing down on them with the King's crown.

ULTIMATE MOVE: CHECKMATE! This is only done when all of the pieces are combined, and is in fact the only thing they can do when all pieces are combined. Loveday and Noodle pass chess pieces in between each other, going in between many different combinations of chess pieces to attack, from Rook and Pawn to Knight and King, but it ends with a King and Queen duo where Noodle (the Queen), stomps the opponent into the ground before stomping on them repeatedly. The King leaps high into the air and pulls out a kingly scepter before pointing it below at the opponent and shouting "Checkmate!" before shooting a mighty beam of energy designed to incinerate. This move can only be done if no energy has been used and it requires much coordination so it can't be used immediately. After using this the battery is permanently drained for a day.

Personality: Generally friendly. Protective of his comrades. Somewhat frivolous, yet also very cunning and absolutely ruthless to enemies. Wants the recognition and admiration of his peers.

Powers: Reflection Manipulation (General Ability) | Phase 1: Allows Johan to somewhat ignore durability by attacking the reflection of his opponent using his own reflection. His reflection is not limited to the moments of his body while his opponents reflection is. Whatever happens to his opponent's reflection, happens to his opponent.

Example: If his reflection shoots his opponent's reflection in the stomach, his opponent's actual body will also sustain a bullet wound; although a physical bullet still wouldn't be present.

Personality: Frank is someone who likes to gamble a little bit. Every bit of life has some form of chance in it, every movement something to be observed and manipulated. Life has rules though, and those shouldn't be broken.

Powers: Cards Mimicry: With a deck of cards is in 's pocket, he can equip, or wear, the different suits of each cards, each one changing his physical abilities and his methods of attacking. Wearing a suit is draining on energy.

Spades: A balanced form that increases strength, speed, and durability to beyond that of a normal human.

Hearts: This suit leaves him with absolutely no combat ability whatsoever, in fact making him weaker than the average human. The only ability of this suit is to heal others (At a mid level).

Diamonds: A pure defense form and nothing more, his durability is boosted to ludicrous levels and even allows him to regenerate from wounds of varying severity (Low mid at maximum)

Clubs: Focusing entirely on raw power and speed, the club form is pure attack. No defensive boost is given, so any hit is fairly rough. The

"The Hangman" (Iapitus The Impaler)

Name: "The Hangman"

Appearance: Like Kirei Kotomine but with a magically shifting black mask covering his face and a tie instead of a cross

Age: Appears 26, but is actually far older due to using magecraft to extend his life

Personality: A bit unhinged but generally good natured, and although he thinks like a Caster, his fighting style often causes large amounts of destruction.

Powers: Magecraft (other than the mystic eyes, mostly support), but specifically what I will call "The Mystic Eyes of Effectiveness." I can view and induce "Effectivness" in things. Like a combination of a Weaker version of the mystic eyes of depth perception and Omni-Weapon Profisciency. I can pick up almost any weapon and use it with at least decent competency against almost any enemy. Since I can view effectiveness, I can also determine the absense of it, and can target invisible "weak points" in everyhing that are normally too small to make a difference to anyone who cannot see them, unlike the mystic eyes of depth perception, these just cause segnificant damage and do not one shot. Even otherwise invulnerable enemy can be damage by striking the exact right points. Obviously, I can also view standard weaknesses of enemies as well.

Character Spirit: Yujiro Hanma.

Theme: Sanctified with Dynamite.

Ultimate Attack: Hanma strikes the enemy with a barrage of techniques in the free .5 seconds they get, and then incapacitates them with his vacuum palm, where I then dump various flamibal liquids on them before lighting them on fire, which will always work due to me inducing effectiveness in it.

Personality: A calm and collected person that gets excited when he's having a good fight. He cares about Justice above a good fight and will not forgive anyone who commits unspeakable crimes. The suffering of innocent people causes rage to build up inside him against those who caused it.

Powers: Accelerated Development/Reactive Power Level( Silas is able to learn and master martial arts at superhuman speeds. This learning curve is already much higher than normal but is increased even further during combat.)

Silas and Hui use Way of Walking to seemingly teleport around the opponent several times, each of them using Nabong Needle Ryu Blood Sealing Needle on the enemy's vital spots. The combo is finished with Silas appearing in front of the enemy and Hui appearing behind the enemy before they hit the enemy with a Mach Punch from their respective sides.

Personality: Introspective, Artistic, Self-Reflective. Nervous and Jittery, he's EXTREMELY loyal to those he cares about, like, Autistic Levels of Devotion. The kind of shit that would make the average 4channer shit themselves.

Powers: Has the ability to create doors and, as long as someone is opening the door, and he is standing in front of that person as they walk through the door, can keep them from exiting. If she yells, it makes people violent to everyone around them, especially their leaders, people stronger than them, people who are popular, and people who are in power.

Name: Loveday Dungey Tricklestone III

Appearance: Too lazy for description. Here just give her more modern clothes. Has a mechanical exoskeleton/frame around her body.

Age: 23

Personality: Pretty wild and loves a good joke every once and a while. Is a total party girl and would love to spend her nights getting wasted and roughhousing if she had the choice. Always one to make friends instead of enemies. Greats people with a bi ol' pat on the back and a hearty laugh. Is a real Irish, with being rather blunt and to the point, and not exactly holding her tongue when she detects a buncha bullshit

Powers: Chess Mimicry. This is a bit of a doozy so it's gonna take a bit to explain. In her pocket, Loveday has all six chess pieces that would go in your standard game of chess, from a Pawn all the way to a king. She's able to grab one of these chess pieces, her exosuit would scan the chess piece, and her exosuit will build upon itself to give her a battle form. All of the chess pieces have their different strengths and weaknesses. Using these suits also uses up energy, and depending on the piece in question, that's how much energy will be used. I'll cover them all now.

Pawn: The pawn is the most weak when it comes to durability and actual attack power, but it makes up for that by delivering a flurry of attacks that are aimed specifically towards weak points, meant to apply constant pressure and to make an opponent feel overwhelmed. It has the least power usage so Loveday can stay as the Pawn suit for a very long time, but suffers from the lack of damage dealing attacks and lack of durability.

Knight: The second lowest usage and one that comes with its own "mount", the Knight is designed for mobility above all else, working on running in, getting a quick stab in, and then running away as fast as humanly possible. This is particularly good for fights with many people in it, however the Knight is terrible in close ranged combat and doesn't fair well in a one on one.

Bishop: The B1sh0p outfit is one of the more unique ones. It comes equipped with a staff that is actually used to shoot out holy projectiles at opponents, which are really just cross shaped projectiles. It's staff can be also used for close quarters combat, but it's impractical and not exactly meant for that perpose. the Bishop is porbbaly one of the most well rounded when it comes to capabilities and energy consumption, but it suffers still up close and constant use of the staff can cause it to overheat.

Rook: The Rook is designed to be a tank. It's bulky, it can take damage, it will take just about any attack thrown your way and won't be complaining anytime soon. The Rook does suffer from very little attack output, but it can use its body as a shield to protect allies if need be. The Rook does use up quite a bit of energy and is slow, however.

Queen: The queen holds her mighty scepter and is one of the most graceful and agile pieces in Loveday's arsenal. She can move in seemingly impossible ways, Loveday's body bending in ways it really shouldn't, and she can use this to avoid a multitude of attacks that head her way. The Queen is very good in one on one fights, but can be easily overwhelmed as it only has one weapons.

King: The biggest, most energy inefficient, and most powerful one, the King is only capable of dishing out a handful of attacks before using up all of the energy available to Loveday. Luckily that's all she needs, as most attacks from the King renders opponents incapable of feeling or using whatever has been directly attack. Because of the sheer power it stores, it moves slowly, but when it hits it packs a real punch!

When times are desperate, Loveday can fuse two of the chess pieces together with the acception of King and Queen, leading them to combine their pros, sometimes negating the weaknesses but also stacking the energy it consumes. This can't be done very often and is stressful on both her and the system at that point.

Character Spirit: Noodle

Theme: no

Ultimate Attack: Depends on the form. As a Pawn, Noodle and Loveday work together as a tag team to unleash a flurry of blades onto an opponent before ending it with a double punch to the face, if applicable. As a knight it results in Noodle riding the amount alongside Loveday, with Loveday slashing and Noodle shooting like some sort of drive by.

As a Priest Loveday whacks the opponent mercilessly with her staff before shooting them pointblank with her staff, before Noodle comes in and shoots a cross into their chest with a tommy gun.

As a Rook Noodle comes along and literally picked up the opponent and slams them into the massive unstoppable wall that is Loveday, breaking a bone or two before Noodle sets them down and Loveday crushing them by sitting on them.

As a Queen its a tagteam of the Queen tossing the opponent into the air, and Noodle shooting them and filling them with lead before the Queen leaps up and slams them into the ground, where Noodle is waiting to stab them with her Katana.

For the King, it involves Noodle leaping into the air, and falling down on the enemy with her sword pointed at them. Noodle stabs them and pins them to the ground before running away, where the King comes in by stomping on them once. After that, the King delivers a full force punch to the opponents...everything, depending on how small they are. The King finishes this off but smashing down on them with the King's crown.

ULTIMATE MOVE: CHECKMATE! This is only done when all of the pieces are combined, and is in fact the only thing they can do when all pieces are combined. Loveday and Noodle pass chess pieces in between each other, going in between many different combinations of chess pieces to attack, from Rook and Pawn to Knight and King, but it ends with a King and Queen duo where Noodle (the Queen), stomps the opponent into the ground before stomping on them repeatedly. The King leaps high into the air and pulls out a kingly scepter before pointing it below at the opponent and shouting "Checkmate!" before shooting a mighty beam of energy designed to incinerate. This move can only be done if no energy has been used and it requires much coordination so it can't be used immediately. After using this the battery is permanently drained for a day.
