The Cowboy Bebop creator stated that Netflix has ignored all of his attempts to make sure that their production stays true to his vision, and except for Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm, all Hollywood live action productions of anime properties that I know of have turned to crap, so please don't get your hopes up. Hollywood is generally not a meritocracy in terms of who gets to write or produce what.

Yes, but they might rewrite the entire story so it fits with Hollywood's political agendas, and mainly focuses on that rather than the original story and thematics, and we do not know if the writers and producers will even be decently competent. The Wheel of Time Amazon show was given to an entirely inexperienced reality TV star for example.

I believe It’s 10 mil per episode for a total of 100 mil for the entire first season. Yeah pretty bonkers.
Especially when the history of live action adaptation has been dreadful to say the least. To believe that they would put so much money on an adaptation of One piece of all shows, can’t get much riskier than that.

Yes, it's a direct visualization that's created by Oda, written by Boichi and published by Shueisha. I won't recommend calculating anything there as there aren't impressive feats that Ace and co can scale above, they already scale to much better feats.
