Anyway, keep remembering what really matters here. It is rather easy to dream up a verse with tier 0 characters, but it still wouldn't sell well at all, whereas One Piece is likely the most popular comic book of all time. Just to put things in perspective.

Wise words. I absolutely agree. Sometimes power scaling, and people's views on it, can prevent them from truly appreciating a work of art.
Sure, power scaling is very important aspect for a Shonen Battle Manga, but One Piece has so much more to offer with its story, world building, unique and interesting characters, refreshing character designs, gripping drama, comedy, and so much more.
It's not without flaws, but nothing ever is, and it doesn't detract from how special it is in the slightest.
We are witnessing history with this one, and we don't even realize it half the time.

Especially, the mystery of the Void century and Joy boy is so intriguing, no matter how many times you theorize it Oda will always find a way to debunk your theory, which makes it even more interesting due to the unpredictability (Super rare in a shounen manga).

Yes, for a guy who's notorious for his long term foreshadowing, he always manages to find a way to subvert expectations, and in a good way 99% of the time. It's really brilliant.

I mean COP would be Low 6-B and immune to blades because of the Split Split Fruit, so Gil probably would need to use Ea to get anything done.

Not to bash Fate here since I didn't know much about the verse in general, but is Fate thread especially vs one is always ended up in mess?
From what I see, most of vs againts Fate characters ended up with insult or just denial.

Not entirely, the one that always ended in mess was either used a busted servants (Gil and King Hassan for example) or popular chars from Fate (FSN and possibly Apocrypha gang)
Beside that it's not always ended being in havoc, mine has a lot's of Fate matches (Raikou and Saber Astolfo) and it went alright despite reached two pages or more

Well against Daz bones he is literally at deaths door and can overcome daz bonez resistance to cutting attack and then one shotting him… even back in East blue… where he should be dead he is still fighting by using will power…
