Well, people in every debate have lead me to believe Zoro uses duraneg slashes for every attack.

Both, he got stronger through the fight but was still unable to harm King. He used an enma juiced Tatsumaki (same one that cut Kaidou) and a Shishi Sonson, which he called stronger than his previous attacks used against King

He never directly hit King with a conqueror/koh attack though and Zoro implied King was dodging and blocking with his flame on because he feared those attacks would be able to harm him, It's unproven if he could or not tho.

Zoro's dura neg is just limited. He can always use his "Breath of All Things" shit, to cut through things above his physical strength, but the ability isn't effective against someone vastly more durable.

I think it would be rather nice if Blackbeard didn't have Conquerers haki, personally. Would really establish him as a kinda "dark horse", someone who lacks the qualifications of a king, yet still reaches such a high level through his underhanded tactics and cunning.

Oh, yeah, the blurb does say "Luffy is back to face Kaido once again, but does he stand any more of a chance in this rematch against the strongest man alive? On other parts of the island, Sanji and Zolo go up against Kaido's strongest warriors."

That is a solid statement, we'll have to see how true it was.

He KOed Lucci with a casual attack and rendered Kizaru paraplegic for a few minutes with Star Gun as well, he was relatively impressive this arc, especially considering he never really went all out.

I think both could fit that role sure, but it would carry more thematic weight if Blackbeard was the one focused on, for the archetype itself. He is likely going to end up being the end-game "foil" to Luffy's character, and I think him not having kingly qualities would service that.

Probably boils down to the fact that the Admiral boys are clinging to the Kizaru mental nerf and acting as if a mentally healthy Kizaru would dog walk Luffy. Basically them saying "Luffy only rag dolled Kizaru cause he was mentally nerfed!" And cause he was covered in less injuries than Luffy.
