One Piece Discussion Thread #3

Ranking the Shichibukai (OG) from strongest to weakest (Not strictly talking about physical power) IMO:

1) Mihawk (Implied to be within league with the Yonko. Possesses the title as the strongest swordsman in the world. Casually fought against Yonko Commanders)

2) Doflamingo (He has the best showings out of all the Shichibukai. Has openly tussled with Admiral-level characters on two occasions. Was Luffy's most threatening opponent thus far [debatable for Katakuri], and has toyed with some of the strongest characters in Marineford [Oars Jr, Jozu, Atmos, and Crocodile])

3) Kuma (Unknown potential, has displayed perfect attack reflection, and can even repel abstract things such as "pain" and can send opponents flying for 3 days with a single slap. He's got to be stronger than Sabo at this point)

4) Boa Hancock (Mostly because of her petrification and suggested Haki. If she had some excellent physical feats, I'd put her at the same level as Kuma. She's still one of the most powerful Shichibukai seen.)

5) Jinbe (He's been quite impressive, but whelming when compared to Luffy. He managed to shove Big Mom off of the side of the Sunny Go, and could stop an attack from Katakuri, but he's still quite lacking in any impressive feats outside of this)

6) Crocodile (Inconsistency... And I don't see him comparing to the above, though he is still quite powerful and contended with powerful characters at Marineford)

7) Moriah (Doffy said it best. Moriah is utter trash)

what do the rest of you think :3?

I agree with Mihawk And Doffy at the top 2

Poor Moriah tho maybe he'll come back from the dead one day that would be ironic

Moriah has so much potential and maybe he just got nurfed because it was said that he's been in wars against kaido back in the days? yes he lost but yer. doesn't he have an ability where he takes all the shadows around him without cutting them? but same should be said for crocodile, he straight up attacked whitebeard knowing how strong the worlds strongest man is capable of.

the order of the list I do agree with. but I would have crocodile above Kuma rn because it looks like Kuma isn't in control of himself. jinbei only managed to knock big mom off because bigmom was in a weakend state he does hold an advantage against crocodile but then, crocodile could remove the moisture from your body and has decent range. I don't know how it'll work if boa was to petrify him.

@Burning - You suggesting he is stronger than DOFFY?! Take that back this instant, young white-head.

Also Doffy > Commanders :p

Duh. Crocodile went at Whitebeard without any fear, while Doffy was sweating like he was at the epicenter of the sun at the prospect of facing Kaido. The dude is fodder. :)

Don't listen to Cin. Smoothie solos Dressrosa. :3

@Yoh - No? What makes you even think that?

@Burning - I'm being real here, and Smoothie and Katakuri could defeat Doflamingo, I just think he'd take a majority over them <_<.

Marco is wanked just because he fought all 3 Admirals (despite 2 of them ******* him casually)

Doflamingo would **** Jozu and Vista. Marco would be incredibly hard to put down.

I Think cracker and doffy are on par.

so ummm moment of silence.. new SHOUNEN GAME WITH ALL SHOUNEN JUMP HEROES !!! ITS CALLED JUMP FORCE. IT LOOKS SO REALISTIC AND WAYY BETTER THAN JSTARS !!!

"Held off G4 like it was nothing" - He spawned an army of infinite soldiers to take hits from Gear 4th and support him against Luffy for a long-term fight, which Gear 4th can NOT do due to the time limit.

You're comparing each to how they performed against Luffy when that is no logical way to suggest how they would perform against eachother... it's Doffy vs Cracker, not (Doffy vs Luffy) vs (Cracker vs Luffy) -- Doffy wins in either case anyways

how's doffy gonna fair against fighting an infinite army of biscuit soldiers that are physically stronger & faster than g2-g3 luffy? doffy was incapable of harming g4. cracker was. in some cases u can compare how they performed against luffy.

Because Cracker has low pain tolerance. Because Doffy doesn't have a time limit. Because Doffy can turn everything into strings.

reason why his armament haki is sooo tough, amps his stats. cracker only needs to clap his hands and has been chasing luffy for 11hrs. implying he can turn his biscuit soldiers into strings? someone needs to make this a thread.

@Yoh - Making the soldiers means nothing compared to turning the entire battle-field into an ocean of threads. Cracker can't hide behind his army when everything around him turns into Doflamingo's weapon.

Not to mention Doflamingo already proved himself to be far stronger than any of Luffy's Gears without his Awakening with the exception of Gear 4th. He wont run into the same issues Luffy did. He could use threads to restrict the movement of the biscuits and go straight for Cracker with very little to worry about.

In terms of attack power, Cracker's only notable ability is his Busoshoku Haki. Doflamingo's got him beat in everything else from DF ability, intelligence, stamina, and range.

I assumed because u said everything and not battlefield @light

@cin yes, he can make the entire battlefield into his string but without haki coated , cracker could pretty much tank it with his armament if he were to use 1000 thread flap technique.

g2 luffy matched doffy in speed and g3 luffy had the power to hurt him but it was too slow. cracker overall crushed luffy in terms of speed and power.

he probs could restrict the biscuit soldiers movements and charge towards cracker himself but cracker could just keep making clones. he'll have to restrict cracker from clapping his hands. but then cracker should have more than enough strength to brake his strings. he could keep spawning clones to protect himself.

when you say little to worry about is as if you saying that cracker isn't a good enough fighter at close quarters. we haven't seen him 1v1 without his clones but considering his 800mil+ bounty for only 1 clone says enough since he's controlling it. cracker with haki alone cut though g4 luffy with just a swing of his sword whilst doffy's named attack couldn't. can't say much for his swordmenship but he has to be atleast a master swordsmen to even cut g4 luffy.

and also. the random fear manip should say a lot in his defence even tho it wouldn't play a roll in their fight.

@Yoh -

You say that it wouldn't hurt Cracker when Awakening managed to match Gear 4th for some time despite Doffy being in a weakened state and not using Haki.

Gear 3rd didn't even budge Doflamingo's Kumonosugaki, and Doffy wasn't even using Haki. I highly doubt it would have harmed him especially since Gear 2nd attacks merely "Tickled" Doflamingo (With the exception of that inconsistent asf Red-Hawk).

Parasito takes control over Cracker's movements. The second that hits, he's done. And before you say "Lul, Luffy broke out of Parasito"... that was not Parasito. Doflamingo simply wrapped threads around Luffy's limbs. It did not function like Parasito in any sense.

Doflamingo was in a weakened state against Luffy in Gear 4th, and it was a Kick that couldn't hurt Luffy, whereas Cracker used a cutting attack and only got about an inch deep. You can't bring up Bounty when Doflamingo's has been frozen for over a decade (anywhere between 10 and 12 years). Calling Cracker a "Master Swordsman" is wanky.

doffy was more on the defensive. I wouldn't say match considering he knew g4 had a time limit. he was stalling/outplaying luffy. cracker was pushing luffy back with his clones easily. and he didn't get hit for 11hrs.

luffy attacking cracker's haki only backfired against him making his hands swollen for a brief period of time. katakuri only manages this feat when using block mochi. (probably utilises his df to multiply the density.)

arguable. that's if he gets caught.

luffy was at 50% or a little under stated by doffy himself. a kick that hacked the top half of the castle in two. it's a cutting attack.

Thgngnngnyn6
1 inch deep?

that's the bounty of just a mere clone. not himself. plus nobody knew his true power but a few. a yonko commander should be at least a master swordsmen if he specialises in swordsplay. I doubt anyone under that rank is even cutting g4. it's not just his armament haki being higher than luffy's but his efficiency.

Can we save the doffy v cracker for a different thread I hear this argument all the time doffy vs g4 luffy loss can be differed to a number of variable that cracker either bypassed or didn't have to deal with. it isn't fair to say cracker is stronger I would say doffy is overall stronger but I can see cracker potentially pulling out a win

Tfw first it was claimed that doffy > Katakuri.

Now its been argued Cracker > Doffy.

And... katakuri fodderizes Cracker.

crackers fighting style make brute force strength irrelevant it reall comes down to can you get past his soldiers easily or not katakuri and doffy can but I would not say any of the three fodderizes the others

@PaChi - i'm clearly saying Doffy is > Cracker, and it's a joke to suggest that Katakuri stomps Cracker when nothing implies that other than "Katakuri is the strongest Sweet Commander". He even showed that he viewed Cracker as being quite 'strong' when he was fighting Bound Man Luffy after suggesting "With this, I can see now how you could have bested brother Cracker." before learning that Gear 4th had a time-limit.

Cracker vs. Doffy is an extremely debatable fight. I personally believe that Cracker would beat Doffy and that Katakuri would beat Cracker. Luffy would've lost against Doffy and Cracker without help. Realistically, he should have lost against Katakuri as well.

Im with cin doffys marionette and black knight not even counting the birdcage (not to mention pseudo flight) circumvent crackers only real edge but doffy vs katakuri would be interesting I still say Doffy > cracker but not impossible for cracker to pull out a win if fight drags on idk know how to judge a match between doffy and katakuri

Cracker can spam Luffy level clones and can easily fight for 11 hours+... not to mention that he had injured G4 Luffy, which even Doffy couldn't really do. Plus Luffy stated his Armament Haki was the hardest he's faced. Also, take into account that the only reason he lost is because he got cocky and went in for the kill. Prior to that, there was no implication to him even being hit in that 11 hour timespan, whereas Doffy was getting blitzed left and right. Katakuri definitely destroys Doffy. Against Cracker, he wins but mainly because he can target the real Cracker via Haki and Donut Mochi Punches.

black knight is only one clone and luffy ****** it sideways. birdcage would be as durable as black knight. 1. cracker could break it 2. he can spawn in clones to stop birdcage. none of doffy's attacks are getting past crackers armament or biscuit soldiers. apart from god thread.

@Burning - Luffy has always been stronger than Zoro ever since Enies Lobby. And Luffy is scaling to Zoro from Dressrosa (which is also connected to Punk Hazard) simply because he is stronger than both him and Sanji, the latter having fought Vergo to a near stalemate.

Doffy beats cracker no debate. Katakuri is questionable...

Fite me IRL, yeet.
I mean.

Infinite clone spamming is nice. Higher haki is nice, too. Also higher AP.
