the weapon isn't 0 when there's a weapon.
so using distribution, you would need to multiply everything in the parenthesis, which means you would need to multiply both the weapon and the limb.
3 * 2 = 6
2 * (x + 3) = 2*x + 2*3 = 2x + 6

Half the argument here is that Oars and Luffy shouldn't be touched. Their method of delivering KE is different from every other example.
Normal bodied characters can distribute all of their body's force into single-handed attacks by basically putting their weight into it.
The way Luffy does it is different. He doesn't throw his body into it, he stretches his arm back
Then lets it shoot forward.
All the KE is IN HIS ARM when he uses Pistol/Bullet. Bazooka/Cannon are literally Pistol/bullet with two hands hitting the exact same spot with a certain yield but on BOTH arms.
It has nothing to do with "brawlers who don't use weapons" and everything to do with physics

I don't know why "same spot" translated so literally to you.
He's hitting the target with twice the KE, because he's throwing both arm at once, and a single arm has a known value. Luffy's KE with his two handed attacks mostly relies on stretching back and snapping forward and that's the entire point. The mechanism behind Luffy's 2 handed attacks multiplier shouldn't even be questioned alongside everything else here.
