The reason behind this is that the total amount of universes contained in a collection of multiple infinitely-sized multiverses (Even one consisting of infinitely many of them) is in fact equal to the amount of universes contained in a single one of the multiverses that form this ensemble: It is countably infinite, as the union of countably-many countable sets is itself countable, and thus does not differ in size from its components. Depends really.
Basically each moment creates infinite universes which then creates infinite universes for each of the universes.This goes on to infinity.

Every dream and thought becomes a universe in marvel.

Then there is infinite multiverses.

It is true, but is very much (And apparently was for 2 years) redundant in term of statistics.

Users back then were just really hyped up by this "new" concept and many argued to proof that their 2-A verses and characters were stronger than other 2-As, cus they were from a "infinity^infinity^infinity multiversal cosmology" when none of that actually mattered.

Reason being the one that Og posted above, imma just givin' some lore about it.
