Welp, now that Obsidian finally has a profile, what better way to start than by putting her in a match against another giant fire sword wielding warrior?
Beach City was in ruin, a powerful figure stood high above the innocent beach town. Ares, the God of War, was tasked by Zeus to spread destruction and war across the Earth. As he towered over the ruined city, a bright light emanated from the beach. A huge figure seemingly appeared out of this light, black as the night, with lines of lava running all over her body. A roar reached Ares's ears as the figure stood upright, and could be heard for miles around. The Crystal Gems had fused into Obsidian to protect their city, and they were determined to take this so-called "God" down. Ares summoned his sword, and Obsidian formed theirs from the Crystal Gems's weapons and pulled the blade out of her magma-filled mouth. They then stared each other down, awaiting the battle to begin.
