Oh, small Nier tweak? In the scene with Lily, 16 asks about Lily's shields and Dahlia says she doesn't have any since Lily is a pleasure unit.
Would that be enough to say they have passive energy shields?

I've been feeling off put by the pacing. It felt like they were trying to cram in so much they didn't get to linger on anything that actually happens.

I gotta say. I was a bit bummed by the anime so far. Plus all the hiatuses. But the new four episodes were certainly worth the wait and addresses many of my gripes of the previous ones.
