New Tomorrowverse Thread

Following the release of the Crisis on Infinite Earths animated movie (part 1 with two other parts coming out later), I thought it could be to make a new Tomorrowverse thread since there were plans to make Tomorrowverse profiles.

I myself had plans to make a profile for the Joker (and maybe Batman).

Probably. The first Crisis movie was rather good though btw with an interesting twist for Pariah

Anyway, is someone still interested in making some profiles?

Watched the first two Crisis on Infinite Earths movie, they're pretty good. SPOILER Constantine returns as a homeless man, he's essentially a version of Pariah here. He's explicitly stated to be the Constantine from the DCAMU who got changed and punished for his actions after Apokolips War and the House of Mysteries. His design is different and follows the Tomorrowverse so I wanted to make a profile for him but since he's the same Constantine as the DCAMU, I don't know if that's necessary (he does state he's been alive for centuries watching countless Earths to die so there's at least that in terms of difference)

Btw, he also has a nice fight scene with John Stewart where he matches him blow for blow, at one point he creates a Shang Tsung like skull that easily shatters one of John's barriers and John is visibly worried and before that, John tries to trap him with a wall and John just touches it, creates a seal and the wall instantly breaks down

Dayum, so I guess this means Tomorrowverse would get upgraded to 7-A since JL members are relative to John Stewart. Also noticed that Constantine has Athletic human speed when he’s reacted to Faust, Wonder Woman and now John Stewart, so MHS+ Tomorrowverse.

Yep

I know it's not the subject of the thread but the new Bruce Timm series Caped Crusader set in the 40s will be released in August

Ok so I just watched the third crisis movie and here's what I've gathered:

  • The Anti-Monitor is repeatedly shown ripping space-time with his bare hands, opening tears between Earths and then projects waves of antimatter to erase Earths. The only thing he has to do is to raise his hand and that's it.
  • It's revealed that when Constantine encouraged Flash to rewrite history at the end of Apokolips War, he charmed him to kill Darkseid before the invasion. Barry is shown running through Apokolips and Parademons and monsters simply fall dead with blood dripping for their mouth and nose. This is part of a spell Constantine cast with the charm, putting a piece of his soul and putting inside Barry's body, with the spell killing Parademons when Barry runs near them. The flashback explains Darkseid is actually a living fixed point in time, almost indestructible and concieved to be a pillar to the Multiverse, unkillable by technology or even Magic. The only moment in his life where he was vulnerable was when he was under 1 year old. Which is why, yes, Constantine charmed Barry so he would kill baby Darkseid. Barry can't go through with it but then Constantine explains his spell basically turned Barry into a living poison carrier, with his presence alone having been enough to kill Darkseid. The end of the movie reveals that, because Darkseid is a fixed point in time, his death caused the creation of the Multiverse itself. But because the universe wasn't made to support infinite timeline, it's basically crumbling on itself.
  • Luthor sets up a plan to kill the Anti-Monitor. After analyzing the AM's signature, he reveals it is made from the same energy as Shadow Demons, which fear light and therefore he plans to use a big enough source of light energy to kill it. The plan is for a Kryptonian to absorb enough suns to destroy it, with Mister Terrific calculating that 52 suns should be enough to do the deed. Supergirl eventually absorbs the suns herself to gather that power.
  • The AM is shot by an energy beam from the Warworld. It briefly stuns and hurts it but he almost instantly recovers and isn't truly harmed by the end. Later, Martian Manhunter makes Psycho-Pirate connect the emotions of all people in the Multiverse and powers the Warworld with it. The resulting beams is powerful enough that it actually genuinely harms the AM and goes from it, opening a large gaping hole. However, he regenerates shortly after. Kara then flies into the hole at the last second and releases all the sun energy she has gathered, allowing her to blow up the AM. However, due to the Multiverse shenanigans mentionned above, the AM is basically some sort of defense mechanism and even if one is destroyed, an infinite number appears to replace it.

It did have som good stuff (I liked Man of Tomorrow and the two Long Halloween movies) but it feels super rushed and badly handled

At least we have some stuff we can use for profiles from the last movies
I feel like we can upgrade all characters to 7-A and MHS since we know the Constantine that fought the JL is the same Constantine from DCAMU.
