Neo Exdeath upgrade

The problem with "erasing all dimensions" is that spatial dimensions are never defined in Final Fantasy.

I'm not sure whether to treat Crystal Chronicles as an isolated continuity or not. Since the infinite multiverse thing refers to the infinite number of futures within the Crystal Core if I recall correctly.

I agree with this upgrade. Spatial dimensions may be undefined thus far, but if they ever were, that might be enough to make him skyrocket. However, I do agree that 2-A makes sense.

One of the major issues with this is the fact that the infinite multiverse statement comes from Crystal Chronicles, which may be an isolated continuity since Gilgamesh never visited it.

There's several continuities Gilgamesh never visited though that can be considered to be part of the multiverse, such as FF2, FFIII, FFVII, and FFX. We use the Dissidia thing to scale, so why not consider it?

@Aeyu

Perhaps. I heard that Layle, Yuri, and Chelinka appeared in Omnia Opera, so this might be legit.

@Matt

I don't have the cash to afford FF XI's subscription model so I'm not at all that knowledgeable of it.

@Matt

If Crystal Chronicles is connected to FFV through the Rift, then 2-A would be completely legitimate, but it would destroy scaling because:

1. Gilgamesh scales off the party, who run off to fight Exdeath and Neo Exdeath not long afterward.

2. Gilgamesh appears in nearly every game in the series in some shape or form.

That said, it's not like this is without precedent. Final Fantasy Type-0 mentioned "infinite worlds all lined up in a row" and "mugen no sekai" in the Japanese versio with constant timeline resets being a key part of the plot.

Enna Kros in WoFF also created "infinite Realms of Fantasy" the size of Grymoire, in which the game takes place.

You sure this is the Void and not a Void? There are more Voids in FF besides the one Exdeath merged with.

@Matt

It's generally accepted that the Void in FF III is separate from the Void in the Interdimensional Rift.

But yeah, Ever pointed out that it would be safest to regard beating 2-A Neo Exdeath as an outlier, not scaling it to the others.

Btw, speaking of Gilgamesh, since he shows up to a lot of FF games, if he's shown to resist certain abilities or not be affected by dangerous areas, would that be added to his profile?

I don't see why killing NE doesn't scale to the main cast of FFV, though. Especially when they and the Dawn Warriors were both able to cancel the Void.

FFIII's cast scale to CoD for killing it, why don't FFV's? I posted in the other thread and showed scans about how the Crystals give them the power to oppose the Void, and how that should warrant a separate key, as well as the whole Enuo not being superior to NE, even though he's a far stronger boss and controls the void to the literal same extent as NE, but that thread got buried.

How is it, though? The Crystals are outright stated to give them this power.

This would upgrade the Cloud of Darkness right? As its the embodiment of The Void.

No. Cloud of Darkness is not the enbodiment of the void, it is the emissary of the Void and was aiming only at a 2-C feat.

I agree with Dark; it was only shown affecting two universal totalities.

Huh. Im wrong, then. Sorry.
