napoleon info:
>wrestles a giant right after you summon him
>beam clashes with gram and wins (by technicality but still)
>beats bryn in a straight fight when she initially goes crazy
>breaks skadi's authority over some of the valkyries by reminding them of their true purpose as escorts to great warriors by simply being ******* rad
>is a great aniki to the kids you meet and teaches the girl how to use a gun for fu
>nukes skadi's palace through the gate of skye to bring it tumbling down
>bodytanks a blow from surtr-fenrir to save your life and remains standing long enough to mock it for not killing him in one hit

What a guy.

Um Napoleon also loved Opehlia, so it's love triangle. If you include Wodime, is it square?

rxrx said this in Beast lair.

He answered to Ophelia's pleas for help after the whole mess summoning Surt. While he is firm on Chaldea's side to restore human history, he does not think it will stand in the way to try and help and express his love for Ophelia. Also, his entrance is cool since he helped gunned down the Mass Produced Valkyries.

The Everlasting said:
Well, the Nero Bride in F/GO is a different character. It's Nero from a universe where she was never summoned for Fate/Extra.

But she's basically exactly the same in terms of skills and her NP so it's not really worth it.
Uh, no? Nero Bride has much better stats and complely different skills. She can totally have a profile.

@NEH

Yeah, I can see your point. It's just always been a matter of "Should we do this?" rather than "We shouldn't do this" for me.

Though considering that, along with F/GO Nero Bride being a different character, I wouldn't be opposed to her having a profile, if everyone else is fine with it.

Hmm, another summary that i read was a bit different:

This Lostbelt is a parallel world where the Norse Gods packed out of Asgard and moved into the Land of Shadows, Surtr still burned down the world but because the gods never died Ragnarok is unfinished and their power remained.

Also:

Surtr is beaten by an alliance of Skadi and Chaldea. Skadi and Freya provided buffs while Chaldea do the hard work with Napoleon, Bryn, Sigurd and Mashu fighting the beast. By breaking the contract between them, Ophelia turned Surt into a masterless servant and was greatly weakened. Napoleon opened a big hole in Surt's head with his NP at the cost of his life which allowed Bryn, Sigurd and Mashu to break the core. Sigurd and Bryn were responsible for the fatal blow.

this was posted in reddit, but I got this from BL.

. Sutur ate Fenrir, got his icy flame, and became too powerful. Norse deities united and managed to seal him inside the giant sun that we saw with the cost of nine realms and everyone life except Skadi, who survived thanks to being fused with Scathach and thus escaped from Sutur detection. Also this Sutur also became too ambitious and want to incinerate whole world instead of Scandinavia (This supposed to be one of the reason this LB was pruned out by Human Order). Skadi gathered the survived humans and giants, hoping to recreate the society to no avail. Too much of Skadi magical energy must be used to constantly suppress now-sealed-Surtur and his blue flames and thus development of civilization has been severely limited. In other word Skadi herself actually wants to use her power to help humans develop normally like our society but cannot afford to due to having to keep Sutur in check (her winter is supposed to become a foundation for a new spring that will come).

When Ophelia was caught in the explosion, her vision linked with Sutur after his failed Ragnarok (before he was sealed of course), enabling them to converse and he then secretly bound himself with her via her mystic eye while also casting a curse onto her. This is why he was able to intercept the summoning of Sigurd and hypnotize her for awhile until Napoleon's sacrifice.

Surtur, after consuming the Imaginary Tree, regained his full power (i.e. icy flame) but then Napolean sacrificed himself to basically turn his normal NP into super Stella. Ophelia also used that super-command spell thingy to forcefully destroy her own Mystic Eye to cut her tie with Surtur (at the cost of her own life). Since Surtur already used his NP, his head was blown to pieces by Napolean and also lost his mana source from Ophelia he was left in a vulnerable state where he must take quite a time to heal himself up. We then finished him off before he regenerate by destroying his spiritual core since he was also a kind of heroic spirit, but with the cost of Sigurd and Brynhildr life (the core was inside his magma body and both of them was fatally injured by it).
Story-wise, the fights with Skadi and Imaginary Tree after were supposed to be super easy since Skadi had already spent most of her mana when helping us fighting Sutur and the tree was also heavily damaged by the time we fight it.

-Ophelia was in love with Wodime, she realized that on her deathbed when conversing with Mashu. She also wished to say thanks to Napoleon for his words and his final rainbow (NP) that he showed her & tell him that she actually rejected his proposal(lol) if they were to meet again.

Surtur's final flashback : Surtur actually felt gratitude towards Ophelia when she found him. He felt bad for his own failure to properly initiate his planned Ragnarok since his own being was solely born for the purpose of putting an end to Gods yet he failed his it so he felt down a lot. Then Ophelia found him at his final moment and he found that she sympathizing with him soothed his sadness. He wants to do her something to return the favor but since he is a being of destruction he doesn't know what to do other than burning everything to ashes.

- Ironically Skadi said that with Surtur's death this LB now attained a new hope since she doesn't have to spend a lot of mana to suppress Surtur anymore the society might be able to actually develop. That's why she steeled her resolve and challenged us, while fully aware that it would likely ended in her loss since she, the valkyrie and the tree were already worn out at that time.

The writing for Scathach=Skadi is so ridiculous. It's literally Scathach and Skadi pushed together to make an OC goddess but it doesn't even represent Skadi at all. It's literally just Scathach with Gate of Skye.

-Ophelia's right eye isn't exactly like a buff/debuff switch, but it is stated to be a jewel ranked mystic eye with the ability to cull any possibilities within a targeted existence and narrow events to a single course.

-Ironically, as she was supposed to be the one to save her lostbelt, the power of her mystic eye forced her to contact with the only possible outcome available when she laid eyes on her lostbelt, which was the fire demon Surtr. Thus, Surtr breaking out of his cage had become inevitable.

-Surtr's sword is also described as a 'god-killing armament', forged by the planet itself that takes absolute priority over living organisms with form or flesh. It's said that even the gods during the AOG wouldn't be able to withstand it.

-Valkyries are created by Odin himself, and the servant you can pull from the gacha are three of Odin's originals: Ortline, Hildr, and Thrud. They can have varying personalities, but none of them come into conflict with each other. They prefer to be seen as a colective consciousness than individual beings.

-They wield spears that are copies of Odin's gungnir, which has the property of never missing. Even if they're degraded copies, the posess an additional effect by producing a barrier that blesses the innocent and purges evil. Beings who posses magical energy and fail judgement will be annihilated. It's a B rank anti-army np.

-There's also a little tidbit that's dropped somewhere that after Bryn fell in love with Sigurd and was reduced to a human, the creation of Valkryies began to slow down. However, there are lines that say that there are potential active Valkryies that roam the world still in search of heroic souls.

-The Illya we see is a combination of three divine goddesses: Freya, Shitonai, and Louhi. However, the fact that this is Illya somehow allows her to summon Berserker Heracles to protect her. No doubt this is due to the connection they share.

-The fantasy tree in this lost belt is named 'Sombrero'. No, it's not named after the hat, despite what many people believe. The most likely answer is that it's named after a galaxy that's 31 million light years away. It's shaped like a sombrero, hence the name. Also, the last fantasy tree, Orochi, is also a galaxy as well despite being named after the legendary japanese monster. So, it wouldn't be farfetched to say that the future trees will be named after galaxies as well.

-The Wandering Sea is a akin to a portable reality marble that moves around randomly. It supposedly surfaces on the date December 31st only. Da Vinci says that the creation of such a territory can only be achieved in the modern era through the use of a Ploy-Kicksaw, an existence only made possible by the Inheritance of the Witches. Alice Kuonji in the future?

With all this whole new entities coming about with FGO, any of y'all think a tier ladder of these guys will get bigger overtime? Especially with the whole Beasts of Humanity and this "Alien Star God" going to make some kind of appearance sooner or later, right?

Beasts are supposed to get stronger down the line because they grow in proportion to the advancement of humanity. They're like a cancer.

Also, we haven't really seen many divine spirits in their most powerful state yet. For the ones that were shown, like Tiamat and Surtr, it required multiple events to align before they were defeated. Granted, the servants we summon in chaldea aren't as strong as they should be, but it's still impressive.

Apparently Napoleon broke the limits of his Saint Graph to hit Surtur?? Not sure if it's wank because I haven't read a proper translation yet.

I'm more digging in with all the new story info of Lostbelt here, for the most part. Oh, and any of the new Servants that never really showed up until now in FGO.

Speaking of Lostbelts, what's the one you guys are anticipating for the most after this latest Lostbelt chapter? I, for one, am looking forward to the 5th and 6th Lostbelts (that will pretty much not be coming until next year). DK what to say yet for the 7th one considering there's not a lot known of it even compared to the others before it.

I think the best part about this lostbelt was when Kirei made his appearance to re-capture Kadoc. Apparently he pulled this off by running after the shadow boarder with a rocket launcher, busting in, and faking Kadoc's death so thoroughly that even Holmes couldn't figure it out. Mind you, the shadow boarder is a pretty fast moving vehicle, and Kirei caught up to it on his bare feet while carrying a rocket launcher.

Sooo when are all Servants going to get resistance to soul manip via not being soul ripped by Goetia looking at them?

Gudao stared into Goetia's eyes back in London, and that was enough for Goetia to put a curse on Gudao. The trigger was Gudao looking into Goetia's eyes, not Goetia looking at someone in general

@Velox

No. It just means that she gets bonuses when she's fighting the supernatural.

She's a "Mystery Killer" because she went out of her way to kill the supernatural to protect Kyoto, thus reducing the amount of Mystery in the world.

That's why I asked for a reason. A proper reason from someone who actually saw the instance of Gilgamesh tanking Merodach. I couldn't find where this was discussed, so I assume it wasn't agreed upon.

Beats me. It said something about being "inconsistent" with his overall power so I assume the person who took it out thought of it that way and just...well, you know.

I've added it back in, since it's more than likely that most of its power was absorbed by Avalon and that the light Gil took was just a portion of it.

@Swag

By absorption I meant that the brunt of the attack was taken by Avalon and the rest of it was deflected back into Gil's face.

How has everyone's summer rolls been going?

Any horror or success stories?

I've gotten nothing but CEs personally.
