Naruto must've been mad mental-amped.

I mean he def was

Kishimoto literally drew Naruto recalling Haku's words to him and he proceeded to whip out more clones than he ever did

Blatantly mental amped

His mental amp against Mizuki was the highest he had done to that point ( 1,000 )

And against Garra he whipped out at least 2,000 or so

What's better, Pain's Assault (Chapter 413-453) or Frieza Saga (Chapter 291-329)?
Pain assault because its generally better structured and has a lot more varied things going on than the frieza saga specifically, i also think the pain arc despite not being as iconic as Goku vs Frieza has a better resolution to most of its plot points.

now if we took the namek saga as a whole then id say its definitely better than the pain assault arc, as the pain assault arc is very much a pay off for a lot of the plot points that have been marinating for a while but isnt as airtight as a standalone story.

Eh you could interpret it like that, but Eida's acting like he just can't deal with them at all, and it's not like they're always together or anything.
At the time the statement was made, we'd only ever seen them as a collective group, so yeah. I don't think it's fair to apply things we learned later on (such as Jura being >>> for instance) to what Eida had knowledge on at the time. She has no sensory capabilities and she can't see the future.
He's not complete fodder to that tier, but being able to help to some extent and being significantly weaker/slower aren't contradictory.
Sparkle, what does ">>" mean to you? Cause to me it's, like, a pretty sizeable stat advantage given that a single ">" arrow already implies outright superiority and ">~" implies partial superiority or low-end relativity. This is what I'm disagreeing with. If you think there's a gap between Code and the Shinju/Boruto, that's fine.
I just don't think it's anything massive given that he has literal feats putting him on that level and that the only statement implying otherwise is IMO not as conclusive as you think. And this is only base Code, with WK I believe whatever gap there may be would be bridged.
As you know, reaction speed isn't the same as combat speed, and I wouldn't particularly take the Boruto feat too seriously anyways given Boruto's demeanor and the fact that he acted like his attack went according to plan anyways (he also didn't even try to push his arm toward Code after having it caught, his reaction was pretty much just "ok"). I'm fine with Base Code in the same blitz tier as Boruto though.
I'm not really sure how Boruto knowing that he was going to beat Code using Uzuhiko discredits Code's feats.
And there's still the Hidari feat as well. Add Karma to that, and I don't see Code being significantly inferior, if at all.
It's really not arbitrary. Out of someone's league = faster is a completely normal interpretation. Certainly no less an assumption than applying it to AP. Maybe WK Code could be slightly comparable, but a pretty loose relativity that'd be.
I think it is a weak assumption when Code has feats on that level and when the statement putting them above him have another valid interpretation, but maybe that's just me. 🤷‍♂️
Just more implication that he was bagging 🤷‍♂️
Perhaps.
I still think he's weaker than CS2 Sasuke in terms of raw stats, but it's not a massive difference. I do think he's likely above base Sasuke, though. At least with the MS.
(Only talking stats here, obviously holistically Itachi slaps given his abilities)
Huh this hole on his left sleeve is suspicious since the Dragon Flame only hit his right side

Yeah, the Chidori feat is something that I'm starting to find more and more interesting.
It seems to me he likely blocked it with his arm/arms.
This is a WILD statement I'm ngl. Maybe if it was talking about PT or BM Gaara it'd be understandable, but still damn.
Thing is, Jonin and Chunin vary in quality from village to village. Like, these guys were Chunin lol.
This could just mean that Suna Jonin are mostly fodder, given that Rase definitely sent Jonin to assassinate Gaara.

Although, it's also fair to attribute the statement to his higher forms if you believe it's speaking on Jonin in a general sense, rather than just the ones from Suna.

Prophecy and Vengeance (Itachi's Pursuit-Pain's Assault) is one of the best runs of fiction I've ever seen, at least starting from Sasuke vs Deidara.
Sorry, forgot to reply to this. Actually, I fully agree. And to me, it's actually the best stretch of Naruto overall (starting from Sasuke vs Deidara all the way to the FKS). Just so, so good.
