Revealing the weakness of an OP ability before a fight just defeats the point of the ability.
nah, this wasnt the first reveal of the ability, the point of the reveal from a writing POV is to set up a red herring, to let the audience think Code has a chance only to subvert it by revealing Daemon is still stronger with or without the ability.

Revealing the weakness of an OP ability before a fight just defeats the point of the ability. It's like if kakashi figured out obito whole shtick before the 4GNW

By the way how can i save this post for a "told you so" moment when I'm right?
No it doesn't. Boruto doesn't know the weakness of the ability, but we the audience do, so when Boruto is trying to figure it out it introduces something called dramatic irony. Dramatic irony is a literary device that authors intentionally use that denotes when the information the reader possesses surpasses that of a particular character. It introduces a level of suspense as the reader eagerly awaits how or if a character will learn that information.

Fair point. But that should kinda kill the relevance of the ability from there hence unless daemon is gonna tag team someone in the future when the strength fails

for the source she herself told boruto "this is what happened last time and then everyone became enchanted with me"
This does not imply that she knew before hand that her charm was a result of another ability. This only implies that she recognizes that similar changes in people's perception happened when she first realized her charm ability. This is an observation of events and it does not contradict what Amado knows, just adds to it. Boruto even implies that she had no idea that she has the ability to grant wishes.

not as fast as Arc when he downs Liquor

prob because the ability is designed (narratively) be used when his around Eida, meaning its likely an intentional setup for Daemon to eventually lose or to reveal something that would change the context.

That doesn't logically follow whatsoever, the sooner you realize Ikemoto likes to establish weaknesses for his OP abilities, such that he doesn't write himself into a hole with no way to beat characters, the better off you'll be. And just food for thought, but maybe there's a reason they show Daemon touching people whenever his ability activates after they revealed that info through Bug. I wonder...
