Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

It'd be cool to get the other side of the story ngl......
Like, seriously, imagine your rebellious hippy teens spreading your chakra (pretty much your wealth, if you think about it, but also a weapon of terrible power) to the same warring idiots who you literally just subdued and ended their wars. All the while decreasing the chakra available for her to battle the oncoming Otsutsuki threat, and inadvertently making the earth a much bigger target by increasing its chakra curvature or whatever. All of this in the name of "pEaCe AnD lOvE bRo", all while accidentally creating a thousand years of endless conflicts to come.
They don't stop there......oh, no no no, they have the AUDACITY, the GAUL to fight her and seal her away in a ******* planetoid for like a millennium. And you'd think they'd stop there, but NOOOOOOO, her hippy son also removes her soul from her body, and later cuts up said soul into 9 different pieces, and turns them into 9 Kaiju furries using his silly imagination powers......

Idk man, sounds to me like Kaguya was the victim here.....

But nah, seriously, a fleshed out Kaguya story could be pretty goated if executed properly. It'll be really good for the lore as well, and probably power-scaling too.
 
Kaguya as a character, like most other characters which are considered, by the fans, as "terribly written" or "bad", is completely misunderstood. While I agree her introduction and execution as the final "villain" of the series wasn't the greatest, the lore behind her character is interesting, and clearly did have thought and effort put into it. It was just the absolute worst time and place to introduce Kaguya as an actual character rather than someone talked about as lore and hearsay.
 
Kaguya works as a thematic end game villain, even more than madara. given that the themes by the end of the series largely revolve around fatalism,determinism and how it ties into the cycle of hatred.

Defeating Madara doesnt resolve a lot of those issues given that Madara himself is a victim of them. but like contextually as deceived stated , she was introduced at the worst time, not only is she following a significantly far more interesting and likeable villain. if Kaguya was introduced and explore in different arc perhaps after the war i think people would not be as critical, given that at the time people were already being burn out by the whole "bad guy is secretly controlled by another bad guy"

im pretty sure that Kaguya's whole fight thing being at the end point of the war and being so short is probably just kishi compressing his ideas after being burnt out, given that theres a ton of BTS material you can find that Kishi at some point was considering a part 3 for Naruto but a ton of those ideas were made concise or became other adjacent projects like The last and the boruto movie.

also Kaguya and black zetsu was foreshadowed as far back as the Pain arc.

That's all well and good. She's also a down bad, hot alien GILF, her best qualities by far.

And there are others on the way like in the battle of Hashirama vs Madara, Hashi after defeating Madara sees someone and we don't know who it was, later it is revealed that it was Black Zetsu, nobody ever paid attention to that apparently, and even in part I there are indications of Kaguya, it being revealed that the byakugan was an ancestor of the sharingan, at least that was something Kishi didn't forget lol
 
we also know she landed on earth meteor style so depending on how far she came that might be a good feat if she did it herself

Furthermore she trying to prep Earth for when Momoshiki and Kinshiki arrive because she is the only one even remotely powerful enough to stand a chance at holding them back so she going insane with fear
 
Now that I think about it, with all the new feats we have for him, I wonder if it'd be a good idea to separate Alive Minato into a jonin and Hokage key.

Because we don't have an actual page just solely for Gyuki, or any other Bijuu for that matter, with the exceptions of Kurama and the Juubi of course.

Most of those links for the Bijuu just link to their Jins because we have actual profiles for them.
 
 
Huh, didn't know that. Gyuki just doesn't have a profile at this moment, so our next best option would be to use Bee since he's the Jin of Gyuki and has basically all the feats that Gyuki would scale to. Someone could make his profile down the line if they so wanted to though.
