Ban's Regen comes from the Fountain of Youth

Escanor's Regen should logically be superior since his powers come from a vastly superior Magic

No, that's not how that works.

Escanor was left with bruises that took time to heal during his fights with Estarossa and Meliodas. Idf his regen was even remotely comparable to Ban, he wouldn't even have that.
