My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

I live in constant pain that I personally know people who still believe Kamino All Might could one shot Endeavor.

Not all the times, but sometimes I wish I didn't know them.

We're pretty stupid back then, since we scaled Endeavor above Shoto's ice wall and 100% Izuku. Despite the fact Endeavor stated clearly that Izuku's raw power was on par with All Might, which is just another way of saying Izuku's Quirk is stronger than his own. Yet we scaled him to Class M for being stronger than 100%.

And his speed was comparable to 100% as well. No basis for any of that, we just scaled him for no reason.

That shit made me puke in my mouth

thought I do personally like the old render we used of Endeavour’s second costume (from the manga). Though that’s just cause I like manga panels more even with glasses my eyesight is so shit that I can barely tell what something like 2 feet away from me is, manga panels are just easier to see

I-

Even I know that Johnny test with no research is atleast 9-B, and that’s just by looking at episode 1
What's funny is that I'm trying to get a feat from episode 1 calculated. I'm trying to get back into the verse after months of being a WWE meatrider.

For the Infinite 100% Deku calc, what happened to assuming he travelled the full distance before the shockwave tagged Chisaki? Right after the shockwave lands and destroys the surroundings, Deku is in a panel where the destruction is still happening, implying Deku hit the surface before the shockwave hit Overhaul

Also why do we not scale Near-High Ends to High Ends in speed? It is never said that they’re slower than High Ends, just that they’re not as smart

Mirio even notes that their speed is off the charts

Idk

I still have my accepted one at ~Mach 130 (Atleast, I think I do) so if Therefir gives the go ahead for using it then yeah.

They'll be scaling to that rating in the future. Via scaling to heroes like Mirio, who stated their speed was off the charts.

Burnin, who can react to and stop attacks from Dabi's Flashfire Fist. And Nejire, who is capable of fighting against complete Shigaraki's growth. Some are more important than others, but the scaling will be there in the future. But not because they're equal in speed to Hood.

How do we treat characters being obviously weaker but still able to momentarily stun/stagger other characters with their hits. Do we massively downscale them or are we assuming the stunned character was just surprised/caught of guard. Cuz Mirio has shown to be able to stunned character on the level of High-ends and even Complete Shigaraki and ssomehow not breaking his arm in the process , he even got the training/time excuse for getting stronger than he previously was, similar to Nejire

He never stunned or staggered anyone on that level.

Mirio moved the Near High-Ends while they were in mid air, which means his strike only has to overpower their weight to move them. When planted on the ground he did literally zero damage to them and they didn't even react to his strike. He never staggered Shigaraki period.

He only slightly moved him when he was escorting Nejire's energy that was wrapped around his fist. Which means it wasn't his power.
