My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

I don't know if this was addressed already, but shouldn't All Might's keys be in chronological order?
It's a bit messy reading it from Wounded to Weakened and then suddenly Prime and then Kamino. the Prime key should go first, I think. The way the AP is written, it's not difficult to find which specific feat justifies All Might's tier as the justifications are one or two sentences at most.
Just IMO tho.
Ur opinion is valid

Yeah that should be fine.

Prime > Wounded > Weakened > Two Heroes/Hideout Raid Arc.

Should Prime not come last since it is the one we know the least about? Besides that, it is the strongest of the bunch while simultaneously holding the least relevance.

Keys are arranged in chronological order, not by relevance.

Keys are normally better in chronological order unless there are other specific reasons that would prove otherwise.
All Might fits it perfectly especially with the additional context of him weakening over time.

That is very unfortunate
Just have to be patient, this series isn't going anywhere and eventually they'll likely be indisputable feats....besides I try to take the ratings too seriously....FFS they have Korra from Avatar as a 7B in the Avatar state....I don't doubt for a second that Midoriya would hilariously blitz and cave her skull in before she realized what was happening....

Plus they've finally broken into the MHS range....it was maybe 8 or 9 months ago that they were stuck in high hypersonic....not even high hypersonic+....progress has been made...just need to give time.

I mean, this is why I'm very wary of cloud and storm calcs. As far as we can see, they have consistenty higher results than literally every other feat in the series (as of now).
It's not like the downgrade happened for no reason. It's just the most logical direction (as of now).

While it's unfortunate and sad to see the downgrades (and exhausting to see the cycle of upgrades and downgrades), that's just an indication that we take the accuracy of the profiles first and foremost. Scouring for upgrades is what results to profiles that doesn't resemble the characters and series they represent.

“Ourlier!!!” Isnt a proper representation of anything

Horikoshi is definitely limited by his setting. It's a modern setting and a superhero story at that. Unlike fictional verses, there aren't mountains just lying there waiting to be destroyed. He also can't exactly destroy a city unless he wants to get into genocide levels of causalities.

And unlike other verses the story is limited to earth. There also won't be random meteors appearing just waiting to be busted.

The only way I see higher feats in the future that don't involve air pressure or changing the weather and affecting clouds, is if we get an entire battle in a deserted place. Like a deserted island or something where the characters can just go ham.

Todoroki gonna freeze an entire ocean and the villain gonna flick his finger and vaporize all oc it.

If character A has 3 wall level feats then struggles to do a street level feat you’d call it an outlier and disregard it. Similarly if A does 3 wall level feats then does a building level feat without getting stronger you’d call the building level feat an outlier.
