My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

It does count.

I think it can work but I'm not 100% sure.

Because? That's kind of vague
Blood counts because it is liquid. It has water and all that. Shigaraki used decay on people, humans, and they are destroyed together with their matter. Humans have blood, obviously and a few people have been shown to bleed from his attacks. If Shiggy was unable to destroy their blood, which are liquid, he would have left pools of blood after destroying all solid structures of their bodies together with all other fluids, which does not happen.

None of these facts are vague at all. Any amount of reasoning yield them. It goes without saying.

Your answers prior to this were "yes" and "it does count" the word I should have used was unhelpful because it doesn't explain anything.

But regardless, thank you for explaining, I'm not knowledgeable on MHA beyond season 4 which is why I asked the question

I still can’t find anything on Twice’s doubles becoming weaker in succession.

Doubles will always be less durable than the original; but double 2 is weaker than 1. It never says 4 is weaker than 2 or 3 is weaker than 1.

If they always got weaker, shouldn’t they get to the point where one punching an opponent and giving himself a bruise on his knuckles would make himself die?

Today saw someone saying Deku is weak because he couldnt use OFA at 100% right away. Though not wrong, they tried using that to say he as a character is bad. Imagine Deku with prime AM's strength right off the bat and other quirks. There wouldnt even really be a point to the story besides it being OPM 2.0

Vigilantes is out

O'clock vestige that Six is seeing is pretty much confirmed to be AFO. So looks like AFO himself is interested in Koichi. Considering all the hype he was giving Koichi last chapter, I won't be surprised if he tries to steal his quirk.

Six can also share his speed with the Anonymous clones or whatever they are. The ability kinda reminded me of Speed sharing that some members of the Flash family in DC have.

And since O'clock is basically the Flash, Six could be seen as a variation of Reverse Flash. And his personality does fit considering how obsessed he is with O'clock and probably Koichi in the future. Anyway, speed sharing means he has an army of speedsters at his beck and call in a fight.

Well now we now know how afo was able to know when lady Nagant changed her mind

It's because the two quirks he gave her basically held a copy of his conscience for him to "see" what's going on

Like Imagine he reads a flash comic, sees flash say he can move across the universe in a second, and then goes like "yup, seems reasonable, I think my characters could do this"

I doubt he would, and I hope he doesn’t. Don’t want MHA to become Dragon Ball: 2.

Grounded world and powerscale with SOME weird ass powers and hacks > “lol I can punch universe’s away now by muscle training or via magic water/earring/balls/mcguffin”

So Deku’s OFA is going to become 50000x (random number guess) faster and more powerful before he dies of old age? Doesn’t seem likely.

It won’t ever get close to FTL. If it does, it’ll be an outlier, like Aoyama’s navel laser, or some wonky feat people love to lie about to make a verse stronger. Like what some MCU scalers I see do.

Doesn't have to take long. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if he just randomly throws in multiple lasers that deku dodges. I mean he can always add different plot devices. hell, maybe he already has a long ass paragraph explaining how inf speed mha makes sense

I highly doubt he does or ever will, since one of the most dangerous things in the verse is a bullet.

The class already scale to characters who reacted to “lasers” so I guess the verse is already FTL. /s.

Horikoshi likes comics. He also likes Star Wars. MHA is closer to the MCU than the Comics in terms of power, and hopefully it always will.

MHA as a verse would be fine capped out at MHS+. At that speed explosions would seem frozen or look like they're in slow motion and you can be as fast as lightning. Only the top tiers would be this fast though.

There's really no reason to go faster..
