My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

Iida practically statues the shockwave from his own speed when he kicks Mudman in the anime. I guess that’s why we don’t take anime feats as valid.

Current Deku is given 30 minutes to clear the entire Overhaul raid by himself. He only needs to knock people out and not capture or detain them.

Can he clear?

He clears so fast its quite disgusting. Overhaul doesn't even have the time to get downstairs with chrono before Deku is punching him in the face and yeeting Eri out.

That sounds good, Very High for his early keys, Extremely High for his latest key, splitting his stamina in sections like we did for his intelligence.

Yeah, a lot of profiles just put whatever for the stamina section and its just really weird. Like as far as I've seen, there's like no difference between "high," "very high," and "extremely high" whatsoever. No one really seems to care what happens to stamina sections. People just list the feats (if there is any to begin with), put a word, and move on.

I guess we can still use the fake ratings to show how much Deku's stamina grew, even if they technically mean nothing to other verses.

Not saying you shouldn't, like I said I don't mind. But the rating itself means very little.

However I completely agree that his stamina section should be split to show his progression.

You can go without food for quite some time so I don't think that alone really justifies an extremely high rating. The sleeping part however is fine and same with maintaining Full Cowl.

The rating is nothing more than a way to show how his stamina has improved.

His rating could've been high before and then we put it at very high. Or Above average and high after, all of them mean the same thing. The real difference is the examples that are written in the stamina section, not the rating.

Case in point, Shigaraki can fight for over 48 hours and is only Very High. The rating name means nothing. Though Shigaraki's stamina should be split into keys as well.

The name means nothing of course but to a certain degree it does. You wouldn't put "extremely high." on a profile where a character can fight for 7 minutes and get paper cuts without complaining.

I wouldn't put anything, there is no rating. Just explain their stamina.

Extremely High means the exact same thing as Very High to many people, it's a really subjective term. If Izuku is already Very High then you can say extremely high as well, both are meaningless to each other.

Honestly it's kind of a redundant, since both are basically the same.

Just delete the stamina rating :).

Yeah, I saw 3 rants on this arc back to back on that site. Literally all the "manga discussions" if there's ever any on that sub is all about complaints. And it all boils down to "Deku as the MC is finally getting his own arc" but I assume they don't like him cause they have been complaining non-stop about the "lack of side characters". MHA probably has a lot of people watching that hate Deku cause its ridiculous to me some of the complaints people make with regards to him and the side characters.

Some people are stuck in Dreamland and think Bakugo is the "second protagonist". I've seen this thrown around so many times.

There's also the people who somehow still think Bakugo, Shoto or the other kids were ever gonna keep up with Deku power-wise but Hori burst their bubble real quick this arc (despite it already being obvious) so they have been endlessly ranting about that.
Scrubs.

Villain mind controls someone into shooting themself.
These people would probably blame the guy that was shot.
"No, they're not a human being who needs to be held accountable for their actions! You are just misunderstanding everything. They also do be kind of hot :D."

Enough of them create a smokescreen, and bind him with black whip all to distract while a few are just amping with Fa Jin to one shot. Speed Difference means Danger Sense does basically nothing unfortunately. Float is also useless because less manuverability without Air Force and All Might has range. The Dekus using Fa Jin then go for the weak spot and hopefully one shot. All in all ... probably 5 or so to set up smokescreen, 5 to 10 Fa Jin amp, probably around 50 to bind with Black Whip. Assuming they get the bind off first.

All Might just does a Carolina Smash and begins spinning around, bringing all the Blackwhip role Deku’s with him. The strength between 1% and 100% is quite insane.

1 week break for Hori. Looks like next week there won't be either an anime or manga or anime for MHA. We will have to wait for all the way to June 10th/11th.

I love how the heroes are grouping together in warehouses like the league of villains used to do, while now the villains blow up entire mansions just for a chance to weaken the heroes. Oh how the turns table.
