Its not really explained how the information is shared, but ones the the reasons the curse is so effective is because almost everyone knows about it. Its not even known how people know the source of the curse, since there should theoretically have been no witnesses. They just kind of... Do. And its not even in just one country, the implication is that this is nationally known, since even dipping to another country doesn't make it any easier to get rid of. However, it being an Open Secret is a part of its abilities
