Most Overrated Anime/manga ever

Yeah, Tokyo Ghoul is really overrated.

It is not bad or even decent, its good but its fans apparently think it is a god send of anime/manga (it isnt lul)

Thats more accurate. Honestly, Probably just better to refer it as a mix. It makes absolutely more sense to allow Avatar or Wakfu to be anime, because they are good. But not say, Regular Show or Family Guy which many fans would consider not good.

My Hero Acadamia is highly hyped up, but it's awesome. I'd say it deserves the hype.

@Teen I mean, google has a very contradictory definition. There is a fair amount of anime outsourced these days, especially to neighboring China and SK

I mean, this is also your opinion. I like One Piece and MHA, but at least subjectively speaking, it is 'overrated'. Now granted it depends on your definition as well. I disagree with the conclusion, but arguing it is super popular thus overrated is..somewhat valid.

I mean, I hate to admit it, but if someone argued to my face that my favorite show was overrated, they might be right Unless of course it is niche. For example Yu Yu Hakusho < Hunter X Hunter via popularity But imo Yu Yu Hakusho > Hunter X Hunter You get the idea.

Gurren Lagaan is not overrated I tried to like it, but it isnt my cup of tea. But real talk, Kill La Kill is more overrated these days (which I like more).

I feel like I am a self hating ********* with my opinion lul, most of the stuff I like is overrated.

It was nice knowing you all, but I seriously think this. Dont @Me Cal. Pokemon is not only overrated, but it sucks. How can a show about a ten year old boi cramming tiny pets into balls only to be released to fight other tiny pets be any good? OvO

He also can't run unless he gets new shoes. Because he's been wearing the same pair his mom first bought him for years, and they're so tight that they literally prevent him from running.
 
Okay in all seriousness, I actually have a weird opinion about pokemon anime.

Thought original was boring. Indigo was fun. Forgot the season name, but the one based on silver and gold are ugh. Battle Frontier, Any of the advanced seasons are ƒæîƒæî Diamond and pearl was okay. Black and white was....forgettable. Dropped after that point.
