R4ndomPlayer315 made these two calculations some time ago, so I asked Aguywhodoesthings and Dark-Carioca to check the calculations:

Both were accepted by them, Godzilla's atomic breath shaking the hollow earth and MUTO Prime's earthquakes.

Now, to which pages this will affect? Basically to any Titan that scales from Godzilla and is currently listed as Tier High 6-C.

Godzilla himself, MUTO Prime, Kong, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Rodan, Dagon, Na Kika, Shinomura, Camazotz, The MUTOs, Scylla, Amhuluk, Tiamat, Genitor

UPDATE: This new calc was accepted Godzilla should get Country level durability due to being able to survive a nuke that destroyed his temple that was underwater. As Godzilla can harm those who can harm him his AP scales, same for the other Titans that scale from him.

Thoughts?

I don't agree with the second calculation as it seems like Kong's roaring was the cause of the collapse

Also if Godzilla was generating these types of earthquakes to half of the planet don't you think we would see it affecting Hong Kong?

As for the second one looks fine

HOWEVER in the very same tweet he says she does this by exploiting weak points and pressure points.

He even likens it to snapping a rubber band or knapping flint

So she does it with the help of another fault line

This is also how she causes major earthquakes

I watched the scene again and I still think the same, Kong's roaring did not cause the collapse, that was a side effect of Godzilla's atomic breath that was digging through the Hollow Earth.

I think the full force of the atomic breath was at the tip of the beam, so initially, it would not have been as powerful when it hit the ground. Godzilla's atomic breath may have increased considerably in power as it burrowed into the Hollow Earth.

I agree with you about MUTO Prime, she causes a chain reaction in the tectonic plates more than anything else.

As for the Godzilla Atomic breath thing

It could just as easily generated earthquakes near the hollow earth, and since like you said we see no earthquakes in Hong Kong the calc wouldn't work

The best I could see you doing for this is MAYBE, and this is still a big guess, using the diameter of the interior of hollow earth as your radius.

But I would much rather it be written off altogether due to the assumptions needed for it to work

I appreciate your point of view.

I'll see what can I do later...

Why?
Unless I'm misunderstanding sth, causing earthquakes specifically in hollow earth, where the atomic breath expanded to make a hole hundreds of meters in size, should be fine. Why does not shaking Hong Kong make any difference?

He's treating as if Godzilla caused a magnitude 6 earthquake all the way down to Hollow Earth or basically half the planet

It also results in Godzilla causing MAGNITUDE 12 earthquakes on the surface which is hilariously untrue

I think it could be recalced to just the hollow earth. Also I think I've seen more calcs from the same guy at around 6-B so i think they also need evaluation

The mental gymnastics being used against the feats is hilarious. If Kong's roar caused the violent earthquake, then how come when he roars after this that doesn't happen again which he does a few times?

Also, as for "well why didn't we see it?" Godzilla shoots and there's a blatant wave of force shown moving back the water of the ocean but then we don't see more rumbling after a certain point. And it'd be stupid to say his breath got weaker since he's still firing with no sign of slowing. The shaking is shown again when he actually pierces Hollow Earth along with an intense wind that can push Kong back. Also similar to before, but even stronger, the atomic breath blasting through caused massive structural collapse in the Kong throne-toppling statues much bigger than a Kaiju despite them being far away from the blast.

Most likely there's not a lot of shaking cause Godzilla's just destroying his way down and getting all the rubbled out of the way-as we see he leaves nothing in the hole.

Novel also states the hole Godzilla made create another vile vortex gravity inversion, meaning the shaking is probably caused by the atomic breath hitting it.

And the argument against Prime is really dumb. "She needed to hit the faultline!" isn't a debunk. It's literally stating she's just not doing it magically. Playing the semantics game also doesn't really change the feat since her powers still cause the earthquake. He goes on to say that yes she can move fault lines to cause the quakes, so the KE calc would be correct rather than the destruction of whatever's crumbling in her fist.

Prime being that level is also consistent since she can generate any magnitude of earthquake according to Arvid, 12 included, so long as it's possible and the KT extinction asteroid hit that hard. And as he stated she used it on Godzilla and he got back up.

Do we see Magnitude 12 earthquakes being generated on the surface?

No we don't

And because we don't the calc can't be used. End of story

It literally states she needs an existing fault to do it which means she can't do it on her own

Causing a fault to snap requires WAY less energy than actually creating one

Same goes for creating a fault with help from another fault
First of all Magnitude 12 Quakes aren't even physically possible so this is a clear instance of the author not knowing what he's talking about

Second of all he specifically mentions that there has to be a fault with the potential for that (IE not her own power) in order for her to cause the quake
and the KT extinction asteroid hit that hard. And as he stated she used it on Godzilla and he got back up.
This link isnt working but the Wiki recently updated the Chixclub impact so it's now 72 Teratons

The only one I really see as 6-B without a bunch of potential issues is the underwater nuke, but Godzilla is amped by nukes so I'm not 100% sure how that scales really.

Seeing the new second set of calcs I'm fine with the underwater nuke one as it requires the least assumptions

As for Ghidora's I can't say I agree with it because it just kinda assumes he terraforms the Earth via storms and that he does it all at once

So if we did use it the only one being used would be the nuke one

But since the math is sound I'm fine with a straight up 6-B upgrade (Via Godzilla's calc not Ghidora's)

Considering the calculation is accepted and the logic is solid, I agree with scaling Godzilla to the nuke's blast and with upgrading the characters to 6-B based on that.

One unrelated question, how come ghidorah die from godzilla's nuke explosion in G:KOTM?
Burning Godzilla had a ridiculously higher AP than King Ghidorah (he was completely unfazed by the latter's blasts) and this combined with Godzilla's extremely high heat in that form completely incenerated him, apart from the last head.
