Monkey vs Tiger (Mori Jin vs Roronoa Zoro)

If you can negate healing you can negate regeneration. Their literally the exact same thing through different methods- One has something else doing it, the other is via a natural healing factor, both renew cellular damage. It's the same thing.

Yet not once is that shown... The healing he negated wasn't natural regen... He negated healing from other things that increase their regen from an outside source not the regen itself

It being from an outside source is irrelevant as both are the exact same ability. Both renew cells from damage, Mori negates that, end of story.

Bro no... It's literally not in his profile anyway... It being from an outside source is why it's relevant and why its healing negation and not regen negation as it's not shown to negate regen but healing from others

They don't have the same effect and aren't shown to be the same... You need proof that regen stops working... There's no statements or even showings of that... Only that their equipment of healing by either increasing their regen or manipulation of something on ones body that's an outside source gets negated

Dude what do you mean they don't have the same effect. On the healing page itself healing is equated to regeneration and is only distinct in the fact that it comes from an outside source, and can be used on multiple targets, wherein regen only effects the user.

They are legitimately the same ability with minor differences.

Funnily enough, they're more similar than you'd think.

When you lose a lot of blood, there is not enough oxygen going to your brain, which makes your brain unable to work properly, unable to send the necessary signals (via nerves) to your muscles in order to make them move.

Mori is shutting down the nerves, I assume.

The same thing is happening, just in different ways.

I respectfully (cause I respect you like that) disagree with that equivalence. There's a difference between having your blood drained paralyzing your nerves and having your nerves paralyzed directly by acupuncture. Especially since Mori's acupuncture works on a level on which Hyper advanced nano technology can't reverse it.

A body's natural regeneration is literally the ability to renew damaged cells. The only difference between this and healing is that healing comes from an outside source.

And what is that difference?

Because to me it seems that Mori is simply just shutting down the nerves.

It takes anywhere from 5 to 7 minutes for the nerves in your body to either have irreversible damage or outright die when your brain lacks the amount of blood that Zoro loses in a standard battle (stated to be 5 liters compared to the max 8 that the human body has). Despite this, he is able to move around fine due to sheer willpower.

I'd say that being able to move despite having dead/non-function nerves should allow Zoro to move with temporarily shut down nerves.

And iirc, Mori needs to attack specific parts of the body to shut down those specific parts, while Zoro is able to move when his entire body should be unable to move.

Either way... Mori Jin needs to get close and find openings to do that... Zoro even has more range in close quarters via swords

Haki has Regeneration Negation via negating Marco's regen

Marco has healing as well where he uses outside source to speed up other people's recovery

Haki is not shown to negate that... Which is why it's not added, the same thing would apply the other way around
 
Actually... Zoro's goken is listed as arm haki on his profile...

So I think goken would negate mori jin's regen probably
