Misaka Mikoto VS Killua Zoldyck

If killuas main advantage is his speed here then. Equalizing speed seems to be overly weakening him for the match
It's not his main advantage, that would be physical stats (indeed, in the actual Death Battle they may as well scale Mikoto to 9C-9B at best, given the validity of 9A to 8B stats comes from multiple different places in the series).

Speed unequal here would make this battle more likely to be an Incon than anything else, as Mikoto's reaction speed is above what Killua can move or attack anyway.

No.

The faster character gets their combat speed equalized to the slower characters's combat speed and then ALL of his other speeds are reduced by the same multiplier.
K so that means only Misaka is the one getting equalized

Killua keeps his Subsonic movement speed then
In this case, Killua movement is the same as his combat, so it will be athletic speed
It is absolutely not the same thing as his Combat Speed

Just don't equalize speed, Misaka can still keep up with him via reactions

...

No, Misaka is only faster in reaction speed, equalization is based on who has the higher combat speed.

Subsonic is only in his first key, the key being used only lists High Hypersonic+ and doesn't differentiate between his combat and movement speed.

And like, you get that Subsonic wouldn't help him here at all, right?

Making it speed unequal doesn't seem fair considering Mikoto has a lot of her arsenal restricted already and even then it might not matter since she has the higher reaction speed.

On the note of restricted things, is her lightning completely restricted or she just can't use it at tier 7 levels?

She can still use her lightning but at lower outputs. This match is better with speed unequal

Oh, if thats the case then I guess I vote Misaka

Killua can't do shit if the only thing he beats her in, close combat, is inapplicable

Tons of profiles do this

Do you really think Naruto has ftl travel speed?

It's just easier and less cluttered though I do agree we should start specifying more in profiles
And like, you get that Subsonic wouldn't help him here at all, right?
It'd allow him to get in close and force Misaka to run away with her magnetism shit the entire time which at least gives him a fighting chance

Doesn't Killua have a massive speed amp via Godspeed though?
