This is gonna be a really short OP. Basically, in Sonic Frontiers, Sonic gets much stronger after having his potential unlocked by the Hermit Koco. That's undeniable, but what's striking is that Sonic's profile states he becomes four times stronger. With such a claim, there should be a proper statement of such a multiplier.

This is the evidence used for the multiplier, and I believe the reason it doesn't work is self-explanatory. We don't use in-game damage numbers to create a multiplier. As such, this multiplier should be removed, and Sonic's justification for this point should be reworked into something like: "Grew much stronger after having his potential unlocked by Hermit Koco." I know there's a scaling blog too, and that should also be adjusted to reflect this not being a 4x multiplier.

That's all. Feel free to discuss!

Yeah, numbers really only work if there is a statement made. An example iirc would be Dark Cloud were it mentions in the in-game manual that critical hits do double damage and it's actually shown to double up the in-game numbers shown on screen. On their own though, not so much.

With over 48 hours passing and a 4-0 staff agreement, it's safe to consider this thread accepted. I'll need this profile unlocked to apply the changes
