So the DLC has been out for a month, and are a lot of new stuff to be added. But for now I want to start small. One of the new items, the Surging Frenzied Flame, states in its description that "Spirits are eternal, and yet frenzied flame melts them away regardless. No wonder the hornsent forbid the flame's use." The Abyssal Woods also reinforces it. This area of the DLC is full of frenzied enemies and if you try to summon Torrent who is a spirit, you will receive a message stating he is frightened and won't come out. Finally in the base game, the Frenzied Flame ending, which has The Lands Between covered in frenzied flame, causes Torrent to be killed in the aftermath as shown when Melina picks up his ring and it dissolves in her hand.

From these, I believe Frenzied Flame users should get Soul Manipulation for being able to destroy spirits with their flames. Currently Shabriri and Vyke appear to be the only profiles who have Frenzied incantations, but any future profiles who use it such as the Tarnished should get it as well.

I think it's "spirits will never cease to be but this flame is an exception to that since it bypasses its eternity"
