Meruem vs the Doom Slayer

Yes, and they saw themselves being killed by him. As in, they saw him, which means that he is at best acausal type 1.

A 2.3 gap is not that much of a deal either... That alone won't do much if any chance.

Before he revived the seraphim buff and before he was born they saw all infinite possibilities and they can time travel. They could have been a timeline in which doomguy wasn't born or one where he never made it to argent D'Nur and revived the buff but those never happened. That statement could be a combination of multiple things, Acausality, precog resistance, passive fate hax, etc.

It helps though, especially since Doomguy is constantly on the run, so many attacks won't hit him directly.

No they just saw themselves dying it was never outright stated that they saw him, the statement was at the hands of a destroyer. We only found out it was him through playing the campaign.

Wait, isn't hell "outside" of timelines? Like, there is only one hell regardless of how many realities they go into, and there is only one Doomslayer even though hell invaded multiple realities. So obviously there were timelines where he either failed or didn't go to hell, but there is just one version that is ripping them a new one.

And isn't hell unable to alter timelines without invading them anyways?

Regardless, it is not resistance to precog. They did precog him, they were just too weak to do anything about him.

Hell is a 5th dimensional realm.

Read carefully what I am about to type right now.

They were making these predictions before he was born! They could have just time traveled right as soon as they walked up to him and grandaddy paradoxed him.

Or

They never saw him to begin with because they never say outright his name, they essentially give him access to the divinity machine(that thing that made him stonge enough to kill them) and doomguy is the only thing that has ever caught them off guard in the lore meaning they had no idea what he was going to do.

Because I can see the future, I can see your very precise subconscious traits, preferences, muscule movement, and your infinite possibilities for attack? No, precog of that level doesn't exist unless specifically detailed to be of that level. Meruem will see everything he has coming.

I'm gonna have to say Doomguy, while Meruem can be sure to predict and analyze him within combat he's honestly in the same position as Netero was against him. His prediction doesn't matter much when he can't hurt the guy, because Doomguy is just so far above him and still getting stronger, his being able to predict Doomguys next punch doesn't help much because sure he want be getting hit but he's already dying so have fun with that.

His best angle is the poison killing doomguy, but that seems like such an unreliable way since the Doomguy can resist toxic waste which isn't solely just radiation based but also chemically based and even if we did, Doomguy by far has the higher vitality so Meruem drops dead first.

Honestly think this might be a stomp in Doomguy's favor.

Meruem can definitely hurt him, what are you talking about? The AP gap is nowhere near 7.5x, not to mention Meruem has a bunch of Nen amps. Not counting this vote because it's just flat out incorrect.

Doomguy is literally just 2x stronger. Doomguy doesn't have Netero's defence, Doomguy is just more durable, all he has to do is whittle away his defence and armour.

If he predicts literally everything Doomguy does, there's no chance he's even going to scratch him. I'm not sure why people on Doomguy's side believe 2x gap in AP is like heaven and earth, power was never a deciding factor against HxH characters, especially the smartest one in the show.

We are not talking about this anymore this thread needs to be hung up until doomguy's precog resistance gets accepted.

Because Meruem had it listed as precog before the analytical prediction vs Precog debate. The power says it's Precog, but the justification is clear cut analytical prediction, that all the supporters agree with.

Sir the listing says precognition. Doomguy resists a much higher level of precognition.
Again, same effect, different cause.

Someone resisting atomization from matter manip isn't tanking an attack trillions of times stronger without being atomized.

He's scaled to the Rose bomb. He survived it as a Low 7-C and he is capable of ripping his own arm off, so he is comparable to his durability. And he got an insane amp from absorbing most of Youpi and Pouf.

Why would we scale him to something that would've killed him without being healed? Him hurting himself before hand doesn't show him scalling to the explosion, they're completely unrelated.

No he his specifically resisting said effect the cause is irrelevant. But again, I get it, it's just a difference in opinion.
