Men behind Masks: The Shape vs. Jason Voorhees

In Jason Goes to Hell, the explosion at the start of the movie would have killed him if it wasn't for the weird "heart eating possession" thing.

What even was that movie?

Probably, but Jason's not going to die by being stabbed. It takes more than that to kill him.

Jason will die if he suffers much brain damage, but the point is that Michael has much more lifting strength that he could disarm him and throw him onto a hook to wake up the Entity, he doesn't have to kill Jason himself, just let the Entity do it, which he'll be inclined to do.

Ah, so Michael wins then...

I mean, Jason is still physically stronger and his win conditions don't rely on something else doing his dirty work, he could die and possibly win through possession or just kill Michael.

The Entity also doesn't immediately manifest when someone is hooked, it takes a minute and escape is possible for the first time you are hooked, however fidgeting about wakes it up faster.

Killers and Survivors can be resurrected, but we don't know when for the former as they are never harmed (we only have lore info to base this off of) and the latter occurs after a Trial, which is when all remaining survivors escape or all are killed.
