The fight takes place in Amegakure.

Meliodas: 0

Nagato: 4

Sealed Meliodas with a weapon and Edo Nagato. Nagato is restricted from using Chibaku Tensei apart from sealing purposes. Speed is equalized. Who wins?

I say Nagato because he has better hax such as soul stealing, body manipulation, shinra tensei etc. Meliodos doesn't really stand a chance when he's sealed but if it were unsealed Meliodos then it would be a different story.

I belive he has some resistance but he's not immune to it. Merascylla was able to pull out his soul and would have eaten if Ban hadn't stepped in or if Estrossa killed her to take it.

Nagato doesn't have Precog, he has connected vision. By the way Meliodas should have Immortality Type 4. The question here really is whether Nagato's jutsu can be reflected by Full Counter. If that is the case, I'd be leaning towards Meliodas - because Tendo Path becomes effectively useless othewise, I'm going with Nagato for the sheer variety of his powers

1. You need 7 votes and there needs to be a three point difference.

2. You couldn't have written all that stuff in one post?.

3. Verse equalization means magic=chakra

4. We go by profiles here, if you have a problem with a characters ratings or powers make a content revision thread.

Actually Meliodas can't repel physical attacks and Nagato hasn't actually ever used any kind of Precog. in the manga or anime. In fact, Nagato has never used any of the other EMS jutsu either that Madara is able to use - most notably Susanoo, so it's not a given that Nagato will have precog simply because low-level precog is one of the sharingan skills. Nagato also doesn't see chakra flows. Either way, Nagato is more versatile and he can win by means of chibaku tensei sealing - something that Meliodas should be unable to break

I never said he could, I was just going of off the whole "magic=/= chakra" thing. If he can reflect magic attacks he can reflect chakra attacks because of verse equalization.

Code:
Hmm, I did not see verse equalization there, but if it's the same, whatever. Maybe I could write it all down in one comment, sorry. I'm not going to create a thread of content review, because even if I were to do that, I would do all of Naruto's profiles.

Code:
At no time did I say that he could use Sharingan Jutsus, only the standard skills, like precog. And yes, Nagato can see chakra flow

This is not to mention that Itachi can not predict movements with the Sharingan just because he has not made it or just because Sasuke is the only one who has done so

All I'm saying is that we can't make assumptions about what Nagato can or can't do. We have to go by what he showed while on-screen and he most definitely DID NOT show any kind of precog. or chakra flow seeing abilities.

I did not waste one semester marathoning Naruto to have someone tell me Nagato had Precognition

Guys, this is not the place for this. Please stop derailing the thread with all the he shouldn't or should have this.

If we are treating chakra as equivalent to magic, then Nagato has a problem, but he can still win. Tendo path is effectively being shut down (Shinra Tensei would simply be reflected back at him). He has to rely entirely on Ashura Path for offense and on Animal Path for distractions. Preta path can still siphon the magic out of Meliodas (if he can hold on to him) and Human Path can still pull out his soul so Meliodas has to be careful. Meanwhile, Naraka path holds back and revives any of the paths that die and Tendo path builds up Chibaku Tensei. Eventually, Nagato wins by sealing Meliodas inside Chibaku Tensei

The basic reason I think Nagato would win is that there is an information imbalance between the two. Meliodas is a one-trick pony while Nagato has a variety of lethal options
