Meliodas vs. Nagato (Pain)

RoyGundam said:
If we are treating chakra as equivalent to magic, then Nagato has a problem, but he can still win. Tendo path is effectively being shut down (Shinra Tensei would simply be reflected back at him). He has to rely entirely on Ashura Path for offense and on Animal Path for distractions. Preta path can still siphon the magic out of Meliodas (if he can hold on to him) and Human Path can still pull out his soul so Meliodas has to be careful. Meanwhile, Naraka path holds back and revives any of the paths that die and Tendo path builds up Chibaku Tensei. Eventually, Nagato wins by sealing Meliodas inside Chibaku Tensei

The basic reason I think Nagato would win is that there is an information imbalance between the two. Meliodas is a one-trick pony while Nagato has a variety of lethal options
This is just Edo Nagato not Pain, their is no Naraka Path staying in the back resurrecting the other paths, technically no Path is doing anything by themselves since it's just Nagato.

Even with Edo Nagato I doubt Meliodas can win. Edo summonings can be eliminated only by soul hax and sealing. Meliodas has neither. Naraka Path is not even required because edo Nagato will be regenerating by himself. Besides there are advantages of having all the powers in the same body. Nagato can use Bansho Tei to grab Meliodas and then use Human Path's power to take out his soul or use Preta Path's power to drain him of magic.

nagato. speed is pretty even, but nagato's perception is really good, along with him being able to amp every one of his stats through asura path. if he does that, he wont be getting hit by meliodas with, or without, almighty push and pull. oh, and can he most likely one-shot him (meliodas) through that chakra cannon.

One problem with Nagato is that in this case he wouldn't have shared vision unless we are talking about Six Paths of Pain. Nagato was just fighting by himself in the War Arc against Naruto, B, and Itachi so he couldn't use shared vision if there weren't any paths nearby.

@Guardian Nagato can share vision with his summoning creatures as well. Itachi takes note of that and blinds the summoning creatures with kunai

Combining all of Nagatos powers into one body, give it unlimited chakra and Low-high regen - I dont see any way Meliodas can overcome that.

Going with Nagato for far better hax and that regen.
