MCU Phase 5 General Discussion Thread

Down Bad MCU fans:

It's an unspoken law of the Marvel Universe: do NOT try to screw over the Pym family, because they WILL find a way to screw you back harder.
Also It doesn’t matter what universe it is, the yellow jacket will be created/happen no matter what. Whether it’s pym becoming it or Darren becoming it or maybe someone else becoming the yellow jacket.

Gorr is missing regeneration negation on his profile it says he can negate type 3 immortality, but an explanation on what level of regeneration he can negate would help.

Hey guys when ultron killed Thanos in what if

isn’t it supposed to represent what happens when a bad guy actually is smart/pragmatic? (Away with the monologuing and stuff)

Technically not. The creators of that episode said there’s several other universes where Thanos stomped Ultron right then and there. We basically got to see a universe where Ultron got lucky

I’d say here it’s just Thanos was caught off guard/a bit arrogant.

Also is it because of his robot physiology that he isn’t affected from using the stones too much like hulk and tony?

A little off-topic but coolboy 6 had a matchup with gorr and he said this

“Well, the fight takes place in Central Park as per SBA which isn’t a location in the sonic universe as far as I’m concerned so the fight probably does take place within the Marvel Cinematic Universe”

Yeah but isn’t SBA assume it takes place in the real world?

also High Mid Regeneration negation in Gorr's profile please

it's on the necro swords profile but i felt like it should also be included in gorr's profile too since some people don't bother trying to look up the sword's profile

Question regarding MCU universe. If a vs thread says the fight takes place in it. Does the time Travel laws take effect then? Aka the rules of time travel as seen in endgame.

so if an opponent tries to use time travel against their opponent it won’t work because of how the mcu universe work.

I think verse equalization would mean ignoring that rule in the MCU

So in general locations in different universes, we can ignore their universes physical laws unless it’s something obvious like (drowning in water or like gravity pulling you down, the typical physics law)
