It's still astronomically more of a horrible decision than giving an understandable warning to an enemy you don't want to kill
One is done out of emotional nigh-despair and acknowledged as stupid immediately after that scene by the guy who did it himself after he had time to calm down. The other is done out of arrogance and ignoring informations about how dangerous and murderous the person they're facing any literal genius, or really anyone with even two functionning brain cells would have at least taken in account to plan their strategy, and literally giving away their strength to said person without even thinking about it for a second while the person doing that isn't clouded by emotion or personal involvement and is described as a genius.
The second is EXPONENTIALLY more stupid than the first because at least, Tony had the excuse of being personally affected, wich can cloud even the most intelligent person's judgment and (again) acknowleged this was a stupid move himself, whereas Reed's mind was perfectly clear at the time, he wasn't personally affected or emotional and had numerous hints that this Wanda was something more dangerous than the one they knew and should have at least prepare something before attacking her, just in case they would need it, yet decided it would be a good idea to go "Look, I don't want to fight you, here's how you can beat the guy who is more dangerous to you than the others so you can have an easy win" without even a small backup plan just in case, something anyone a tiny bit cautious would have done.

In short, Tony's stupidity is understandable and Reed's not, Tony has a good excuse, Reed is just stupid, period, and literally nothing can change my mind about that, this is one of the dumbest moves I've seen in a while in any sort of fictional work in recent years

I feel like Wanda should have likely (far) higher for her MoM key considering she was already extremely high up in the scaling chain in WandaVision and since she has several statements putting her >>> Strange, having strange be totally helpless against her even while inhabiting a weaker body and then also stomping an alternate universe version of herself.

Very much agreed

So now that we can finally talk about the movie spoiler free in this thread, I had some predictions from the first full trailer and the first tv spot. So lets see how that turned out.
- The scene where Wanda giving the line about strange doing something wrong and becoming the hero seems to be the same setting, if not the same scene as the opening scene in the teaser where Strange asks Wanda what she knows about the Multiverse. Strange is still wearing a scarf and there are clearly short trees in the setting but with all the leaves burnt off and Wanda is in her Scarlet Witch outfit. Perhaps Wanda has a brief emotional burst out in this scene?
This indeed was the same scene.
- Strange is blocking Mordo's staff swing with his handcuffs we see earlier in the trailer. Mordo may be attempting to ambush strange.
When I typed this I was originally thinking that Mordo wasn't a part of the illuminati but saw his chance and barged in to try to kill him anyways, but it was technically an ambush cuz Mordo made his own independent decision to attack strange. I'll give myself half a point for this one.
- I have absolutely no ******* clue what the hell is going on at the end of the trailer but Strange seems to be becoming one with those black things. Considering the way Wong shouted "STRANGE!" its seemingly implied that it is the sacred timeline strange that we're seeing in the final scene, and not some variant.
It was a variant but main universe strange was the one controlling it. Half point.
- If not already made clear in NWH, the Eye of Agamotto still clearly serves usefulness even without the time stone. What that is exactly still has yet to be confirmed. To open off the TV Spot, the first shot is Strange opening the eye to open the door to reveal the multiverse(?).
Already made apparent that it still does stuff in NWH but it didnt really have much of a role at all in MoM. Not really a prediction here, moreso just an observation.
- In the scene where all the magic troops are putting up their shields and looking up, it appears that they're looking at a humanoid caped figure that's too far to identify. Likely Strange, if not a variant of him given that Strange is the only known sorcerer with a cape that can fly like that.
This was absolutely not Strange. It was Wanda.
- Illuminati outfit Strange, seemingly holding something off, looks at Chavez and appears to be preparing to send her away.
This was not illuminati outfit strange, this was a variant who was trying to kill Chavez.
- Christine appears to be within the Illuminati headquarters or at least in an area in which the Illuminati robots that we see escorting Strange in the trailer are invading.
She was in the Illuminati HQ. She works there.
- The TV spot ends with a scene of Strange more clearly "fusing" with those black creatures we see in the trailer.
He wasn't fusing with them, he was already dead and he was wearing them as a cape.

3/7
