A theory I've seen getting tossed around is that Peter willingly let the Iron Spider Suit's nanotechnology to interface with the tentacles in order to suppress the tentacles' AII think doc ock upgrading his arms with nano tech is confirmed, you can see it crawling up one of his arms 1:57 into the trailer
