Hop loves the new Halo and wonders what da boiz on da wiki think in an unserious VS thread. How much rolfcopter lolstomping does da b0ss do to the MCU until he meets his match?
Using canon versions of characters, standard equipment vs End of Infinite's campaign Chief (no skulls or exploits). Who does he beat up to his own tier before he's haxed, BFR'd or outfought fairly?

Hop's thinking Cap, Bucky, Hawkeye, Widow and all street-level Avengers or lower are instant get the ban hammer, pwned epic style. Include the TV shows, and Daredevil, Punisher, even Iron Fist and Cage are barely anything for him to handle. But Hulk, Thor and Spooder-min? Even the villains? When does Chief get wrecked?

I think Hop is about right.
He'll easily sweep through the fodder tier characters, then get stopped by Spider-Man tier and up.

He has good options at killing Spider-Man, but especially if you've seen the latest movie he probably gets outskilled very hard.

Spider-Man (no spoilers) in any variation should have the raw AP and arrangement of gear to survive, especially the Iron Spider from Endgame/No Way Home.

Well he can damage him with the Spartan Laser I believe, but maybe moot since Spider-Man should easily be able to aim-dodge with Spider Sense.

So what you talking about when you said "some elites probably scale"? Cuz none in the games or canon lore do anything like that.
I meant they probably scale to Master Chief, and are also building level.
You said he's never fought anybody with that power, and I thought you meant their AP, but I see now you meant Spider-Sense.

Correct. Hop believes it is hard to argue Spider-Man or above would have an issue with Chief, unless you believe his armor and own skill would outmatch them, but pure AP and other hax powers make it hard to say without case by case, which is the point of the thread for fun.

Master Chief is probably more skilled than Spider-Man, but has zero counters for Spider-Sense, with Spider-Tom's Peter Tingle being powerful enough to make multiple automatic movements while unconscious from having his soul ejected, and iirc he can even sorta puppet his disembodied soul can even puppet his own body to an extent. It's some good stuff

Cap and Bucky would both put up an admirable fight against Chief, but just a glance at his notable victories shows that he's gone down that road before and it went in Chief's favor

Not only that, Tom Spidey was swimming back to his body without controlling his arms later on and his body was still actively puppeteering itself away from Strange.

Spider-Tom was conscious actually just astrally removed from his body, but the spider sense acts independently. Being able to "puppet" it makes some sense since he was entirely awake, but not "in" his body yet.

Still, Chief has dealt with odd enemies before. When it comes to speed and reaction time, AP factored in, Chief gets blitz'd and bodied, even with top tier weapons. Stealth won't even help much due to spidey sense
