Also 7-B nukes render Low 7-B Quen null and void anyway so what's the big issue

End of 4, used a nuke to stop the Composer, even when he was right next to it and was all but certain to be atomized by it.

Additionally, multiple times in the books he uses HAVOK nuclear mines or just plain out HAVOK nukes to destroy Covenant forces.

He doesn't have a nuke launcher, and none of this matters since Chief's only wincon is a suicide move.

Everything you said doesn't prove he used the Nuke in character. Just when he really needed to destroy ships and such big things.

Why would he use a nuke against an opponent like Geralt, who Chief doesn't even know his powers or whatever?

Ok, best weapons for both. I will write something later when my soccer team win the match I finish some works

Fight takes place in the forest of a Halo installation

Both in-character
What aint more Chief if not blowing up another ring.

Why does Chief need the nuke when all he has to do is what out Geralt's magic? He's far more agile with thrusters to the point of absurdity and can cloak himself to wait it out or if Geralt drops it shoot then, leaving Quen on only puts Geralt on a timer whereas Chief won't have one.

Outlasting Geralt's magic is essentially a no-no since Geralt ain't the kind to die out on major blows to arteries (As shown in Blood and Wine) and can keep operating for days at an end without tiring out the least bit.

My point is that with Quen on the only person on a timer is Geralt, all Chief needs to do is keep his distance which he's perfectly capable of doing, he's essentially facing against a longer lasting bubble shield.

Chief's accuracy is pretty on point and all he needs is one good shot to end the fight, whereas Geralt needs to close the distance to Axii, which is easier said than done when John can leap onto Mammoths that are 27 meters tall with his thrusters.

He doesn't need to nuke to win here.

Axii can lock on to airborne villains several tens of meters away easily, that's not really gonna be a problem. And Quen discharges 25% of the original attack.

Also Chief is gonna go through some massive downgrades as of late so this fight might not even work out anymore.

Chief can be hundreds of meters away to begin sniping, his thrusters will make sure he covers that distance if he needs to.

If he's being downgraded then yeah probably.
