Massive DCEU revisions

If nobody knows, you can probably change it to 800.

It's a user called ConsumingFire who put it there, who is now inactive. Since he did not provide any source regarding that, I guess I'll edit the page.

It's odd because the age on the DCEU wiki is around that since the War of the Gods allegedly happened in 3000 BC (Though I feel it'd be good to have 800 possibly 5000 for her age ala Thor)

Also what's our stance regarding the tiers for the characters not involving lifting strength?
What do you mean?

Like are there going to be any changes to their tiers as Matthew implied by voicing his disagreement with the 6-B rating?

Matthew was the strongest supporter for the 6B rating and WW should ne above 1000 years old as she was concieved during the end of the greek god era and other religions like christianity exists

Well Diana was concieved at the end of Ares vs gods so after that other religions likely came. Logically she should be 5000 year old but i can't find an official source

Well I'm not sure about the other religions since Enchantress is older then Diana at 6000 years (meaning she might have been worshipped before the Olympians died.

Matt doesn't agree with using heat vision in calcs. So the stats can't be used unless he gets heavily outvoted or something

Matt, reflection is a property of light. Plus the bvs guide book says it's light. The only thing we don't have is someone in the movie going "heat vision is light".
It reflects off Cyborg's shield

Here's the passage from the laser page

  • The beam refracts in a new material, such as a liquid or...
  • The beam reflects off a material that it can be expected to, such as a non-magical mirror (Cyborgs mirror shield)
  • The beam is called lightspeed by credible scientific sources (guidebook)
  • It is stated to be made of photons or light itself, again by a credible scientific source (guidebook)
  • It has its origin at a realistic source of light, such as a camera

It never did the first.

The later is just the shield.

It's never called lightspeed.

It's never stated to be made of photons, just be a "beam of light" which is not enough.

It has no properties of real light, and that's a fact that cannot be ignored.

No, it was blocked by a shield and so it was reflected. That's like literally a thing that happens to 90% of beam attacks in fiction. Is everything that is reflected from Captain America's shield lightspeed?

It's stated to be a "Beam of light" which tells us absolutely nothing.

Stated to be a beam of light means its a beam of light, not much thought needed. Light is lightspeed, light is made of photons/light. (Two requirements completed)

Reflects off a shiny surface (Cyborg's shield) like light does and heats/burns/melts stuff like a laser/concentrated light does. (Thats three).

Why is three out of five not enough exactly?

Statements that something is light are not, have not, and will never be sufficient for lightspeed. Do you even understand how often that is thrown around in fiction and how utterly rarely it actually means something is lightspeed?

Literally any beam of luminous energy that goes in a straight line is called light even when said beams are demonstrably not lightspeed such as with Superman's heat vision.
