Not really an upgrade as they are still in the same tier but they should be a good bit higher up in the tier than previously thought.

I've calced a Mjolnir strike from Thor at 20.6023 Megafoes.

Basically, I got Mjolnir's speed from Thor's page & its weight from Marvel.com and based on that I was able to calculate that it has this much KE.

Discuss.

... How much does Mjolnir weights? Unless it has the mass of big planets I doubt that it will reach that value of energy. You didn't use speeds above the SoL, aren't you?

I think I once heard it was the weight of a star.

Mjolnir weighs 42.3 pounds and it flies at just under 49 quadrillion times the speed of light.

I see... You can't use KE when speed exceed 299792458 m/s (aka SoL), so the result isn't valid.

Why ?

The laws of kinetic energy stop working at light speed. Same with most laws of physics.

I'm pretty sure that a verse in which you can chuck something at several dozen quadrillion times the speed of light doesn't particularly care for such laws.

Relativistic mass, when the speed approach the SoL the mass tend to infinite, exceeding SoL makes it unquantificable. Its written in our KE page.

Ok, is not exactly that what is written, I'm just paraphrasing (I haven't read the page in long time); but the point is that is not physically possible.

@LordWhis: Thor should have an upgrade because his lightning phased through the body of Chaos King and harmed Chaos King.

Most people consider that PIS though I guess you could say that elder gods were portrayed as Uber powerful in that particular comic and Thor was super strong because of his eg heritage.
