And regarding the destruction of the soul, Makima will not stand still, she will know that it is something that goes beyond the contract and will teleport away and only attack outside of Regulus' range.

• Portal Creation & Summoning (Through forming halos with parts of her body, Makima is capable of using them in order to create portals to summon or transfer other devils[9] or weapons to herself[29][32])
• Teleportation (Through the use of mediums of lower lifeforms such as a pack of rats, she's able to transport herself to different locations[29], Likely can do the same with her portals mentioned above)

And how was this accepted? It is obviously invalid, it would only count for range if the attack was a projectile and went to the moon with Reinhard, this is only a feat of strength as it was carried out through a physical toss.

Since Regulus' authority speed is seperate from his base speed, he'll retain his FTL everything while Makima's speed will be downgraded to baseline Average Human-making him 59958491.6x faster via his Authority, although, Makima's MHS+ reaction will reduce this gap to 1144.01897x, imao.

... I also wanna point out Regulus' durability is Mountain level, so any of Makima's attacks that aren't hax isn't going to do crud to him.

Precog doesn't mean shit when even at a person's fastest, they are still a thousand times slower than their opponent. Onto the monolog stuff... That was anime-only stuff, IIRC. In the novels, he just talked for a bit and then immediately severed Crusch's arm and knocked her out whilst Regulus didn't actually involve himself with Rem since Ley wanted a piece of her and she didn't fulfil Regulus's criterias for a wife.

And he could also just chose to just grab ahold of one of his wives and just put them under the protection of his hax as well to seal off that possibility of Makima bypassing his power. He has done so with Emilia, after all.

He didn't involve himself with Ley in the novel, that's right.

In the novel his mologueing was actually longer, and he didn't attack Crusch until she attacked him. But to be fair he was just on a walk in that situation, it'd be different from SBA.

he has no reason to do that unless he knows makima found out abt his weakness though
