I would like to point out that the staffs of this wiki should lock all the profiles in case trolls or wankers edit them. And for any profile revision, all of that should be left after you locked all the pages.

Pages are almost always protected as far as I know. They don't all need locking however.

Well, what I see from the beginning of almost every pages are "Edit" and not "View Source". Like Sakuyamon, Command Block,...

The protection stops unregistered users from editing pages. Bad edits and griefing to a page can be undone easily.

Well I mean that they have to lock that even registered users (except staffs) cannot edit. What if registered users are trolls also?

If a registered user is a troll, their edits can be undone and they can be banned.

Just report anyone you see acting like a troll.

You still haven't said why locking pages are necessary beyond the possibility that some unknown trolls may do some bad things... Got any solid reasons?

Absolutely not.

Damage is correct. In fact, we have too many pages that are locked. First of all:

1. All pages are locked so that only registered users can edit.

2. It takes 4-5 days to even start editing on this wiki.

Since last year, any major attempts of vandalidm have been drastically reduced for these reasons.

Do you really only want admins and content moderators editing and making pages? That's so unfair it would destroy the wiki faster than help it. Most of the community would leave.

Last but not least, Antvasima has already stated that he no longer is pushing for this. Plus, there's the edit patrolling script and last time I checked, these administrators are far more effective than you think. As soon as I make a page, three seconds later an admin would message me about either A. How good it is or B. What needs to be improved. They patrol edits like a hawk. I did back when I was a content mod, actually I still do.

In case of vandalism. Search > Report > Revert.
