Lobotomy Corporation Discussion

I think rabbits gameplay wise are just considered absurdly powerful level 4s. They're almost invariably stronger than your 5s unless you have stuff like the white night equipment and really good stats though.

Red Mist's probably pretty up there. She seems to have already killed other alephs seeing as she uses several aleph weapons, can kill other alephs just fine in her actual event, rabbits want to deal with her even less than other alephs, super tanky, etc.
 
Regarding Pale damage: I...never realized nearly everything was 2.0 weak to Pale. I'd like to argue against it but I guess that makes sense.

Can't say I fully agree. On one hand they are treated as "If even Gebura can't suppress them, they're the last call" and as a last resort so I like to think they're able to. After all they can go match some Aleph classes if the need comes. Though they do express fear on facing them so it's a close risk.

And solidly. Red Mist should be on a whole tier above Alephs.

Rabbits are considered to be stronger than most level 5 employees as they have actually combat training while employees borrow power from abnormalities and rely heavily on items. Rabbits are trained professionals who specialize in killing while employees are more self-taught.

Btw regarding passive mindhax, here is how it should work via how Fear level works in-game:

Zayin: Don't get any passive mindhax.

Teth and Up: Gets increasing levels of passive mindhax, going from simply making them nervous and dealing a bit of sanity damage to making them feel hopeless and dealing tons of sanity damage.

Aleph: Instantly incapacitate via passive mindhax.

CENSORED is special and ignores any resistance and instantly incap everything.
 
Apparently White Night also has it's own special fear level. It's above the other alephs, but doesn't instsntly panic non 5s like censored does. You can't say that it ignores any resistance on the file though.
 
Well Black damage is already genuine Resistance Negation. It's just Unknown if CENSORED's passive act the same. If not it's just really strong mindhax.

Technically, Zayin abnormalities do have passive mindhax, its just very weak compared to the higher levels of mindhax.

Aside from that, the rest seems fine
 
I mean it doesn't even qualify as mind hax at all. They make baseline humans feel "calm" upon seeing them. Not very mindhax-y.
 
Anyone with fear weaknesses like King of OPM or so would probably be triggered by Zayin's ability then. Also wonderful scans, I remember that. Your screenshots are really useful.

Damn, so Resistance Negation Resistance is awesome.
 
Still not really up for adding mind hax to Zayin. If it doesn't affect baseline humans it's not worth noting. Plus we can't actually prove that "weak" humans might get affected. It's closer to a weakness of the opponent than an ability.
 
I mean, One Sin, Plague Doctor, and You're Bald are Zayin abnormalities that have passive low level mindhax. Though I suppose that less to do with Fear level and more to do with their base abilities.

Well one sin can kill an aleph and plague doctor is an aleph. Those two aren't exactly baseline zaiyn.
 
Outside of Fear level and CENSORED, I don't think people have passive mindhax. The white damage employees get when in contact with Abnormalities aren't passive and are in reaction to a bad work action. So it's more like a periodic small attack.
 
I like how we're like 4 assholes who cares about this game and yet we've got a 100+ messages thread already.
 
This ain't Minecraft. The canon is too defined to allow us to use older stuff that basically doesn't exist anymore, I think.
 
Welcome to the club! Game's really not easy if you're just getting started and has difficulty spikes. But it's a fun verse imo with intriguing weab characters with a spice of tragic fates. The profiles are the golden part though so hoping you stay!

For that I should probably make that profile then!

Also 3 important profile things...

1) Are their regen combat applicable considering they don't regen mid combat? Well some don't, or should it be more like ressurection?

2) Also, I'm considering adding resistance to magical damage and fire damage due to the nature of EGO Equipment treating fire and magic damage as RED damage and such. Then again that sounds like it can be summarized as long as it can physically harm a target.

3) Would anyone with resistances to BLACK damage might possibly have some sort of Resistance to Resistance Negation?

The timeframe is short enough to be considered useable. After all, the Abnormalities are only considered "defeated" because they're put back in containement, not because they're "dead".

Seems a bit excessive but I guess that's fine.
 
On both the last 2 choices? I'll hold off on both for now until I make a profile for all Abnormalities since I have time today. Dayoffs ftw.

I mean there is also the fact that we should probably update the profiles before doing everything, you rambling madman.

Honestly I thought there was a huge underground city at first in the Training Team room, but then I realized it was just rock thingies.
 
Fair, gonna add those Resistance to Resistance Negation then now. And I think natural Resistance would be fine rather than updated everything with notes on the red. (EDIT) All done.

Well there are a lot of graves and such on the Room below Thicc Red Disciplinary Team for years and the Record Team's background. But yeah likely not a buff honestly.
 
Just for the heck of it, I'm gonna try to put together a profile for Lob Corp in a blog, mostly because I need to check myself on certain resistances and things before actually making it a profile on the site. (I'll use the Lob Corp wiki for the majority of my info.)

I'll put up a link when I'm done so people here can double check the profile. I'll also come back and ask about things from the game as well.

The only one I currenty have my eye on right now is Big and Might be Bad Wolf, just because he looks so cute while in containment.

I was also thinking about Melting Love afterward, but I want the wolf first.
