Firstly resistance to transmutation & reality warping, Ganon transformed all the islanders into warriors, giving him island wide transmutation and his mere presence on the island was warping it as carpet salesman says after his defeat the island is already turning to normal:

Speaking of wolf dude, he statess he can replace your soul and make you obey him with a ruppee:

So also a resistance to Soul & Mind Manipulation? He also states he does it with a rupee, so Link could possibly have this? He'd never use it in character however if he does get this, so that should be noted.

Intelligence
The peaceful villagers are stated to be turned into bloodthirsty warriors and Link needs to skillfully take them down. So his intelligence should be bumped up to Above Average at the very least.


That's all, it's a lot less this time around sadly.
 
Most of it seems fine, couple of things though.

The pig guy's regen is off-screen, so I don't think we count that as regen, since we don't actually know for sure if he came back via that way. Hence Link wouldn't have regen negation.

Does the wolf guy actually attempt his mind/soul thing on Link? Looked to me that during his boss fight, he just used basic projectiles. Unless I'm missing something, Link hasn't been shown to resist that technique.
 
Wasn't it revised to be off-screen regen under a specific time frame?

Before the fight starts he starts the same beam animation he does to the dude he's affects earlier yet Link is perfectly fine.

What beam animation? He touched the random guy with a rupee, in the cutscene for his boss intro his third eye glowed.
 
After he beat the pig in the first area he came back in the next area.

I meant it made the same exact beam sound effect, not animation. My bad.

Yes but the mind/soul thing was done with a rupee, as stated by the wolf, and we don't know if Link was touched by the rupee. Plus in the boss fight, he doesn't seem to be holding a rupee.
 
The transformation happens in correlation with the sound effect. The boss fight has him holding a cane with a rupee like object.
 
I agree with what's said above. Great job!

About the whole prophecy thing, we discussed a bit of it over on Discord, but I honestly don't know how this wiki handles the "chosen one" tropes. Personally, I feel like there should be more additional details here other than "You are the only one who can stop Ganon because the prophecy said so!" Before adding Fate Manipulation. Idk, what do you think?
 
The Wolf thing is more than likely just a result of the Wolf dying, like with how ganados in Resident Evil turn into vapor when they die.

Link being "the only one who can defeat Ganondorf" just means he stronger than anyone else i guess.

Otherwise everything looks fine.
 
Difference there is that the wolf is around one of the last bosses enemies in the game and Link has the strongest equipment by that point.
 
I still think that a cane holding something that looks similar to a rupee and a sound effect that was the same as the one in the previous cutscene are too speculative to give Link mind and soul resistance. Especially for a game with as questionable design choices as the faces of evil.

Speaking of questionable design choices, you can see in this scene that the wolf's arm disappears from scene in the same way that the wolf is erased upon being defeated.
 
Would possibly seem better? The sound design is used nowhere else except for specifically those two scenes, even his death scene doesn't have that sound effect.

Narrative implications more heavily point to him being erased, unlike that scene just being an excuse to remove his arm. He literally states he's dying, and while he's doing his "awoo" thing it slowly fades away as he fades away.

He's dying, so they don't want to show him in the scene anymore. This has happened before in other games. It also seems like a weird way to activate it, since in the boss fight clip all Link does is reflect back the wolf's projectiles (I don't know if this is the intended/only way to beat him or not).
 
No like his howling slowly fades as he's fading so fading is the intention. I don't know for sure either but this would either give his reflection ability EE based reflection or Lupay can shoot out EE beams.
 
Since the Speed was removed from the OP and at least saved for later, the rest look good to apply.
 
Looking back at the EE it seems moreso due to Link reflecting the wolf's beams, so I'm fine with EE being removed.
 
No one had a problem with Clairvoyance, and Link gaining Lupay's hax since Lupay uses a rupee to do it, it's just agreed upon it's not an in-character thing Link would ever do.
