Just gonna ignore that via the fact what happened in Rea route to Reinhard vs Mercurius scenario, nevertheless no, the way these two work in this sense is that they are equal. Reinhard did basically kill Mercurius and split him in half, though resulting in his death due to the position of being his apoptosis.

Yeah this isn't a debate, everyone who has even touched Shinza worth a damn knows that Merc is ridiculously stronger then Reinhard, the ladder only being able to do anything to the former because he's Merc's Apoptosis, as in, literally gets a massive amp SPECIFICALLY against Merc.
