Not the main topic, I suppose, but people generally think this is usable for Ganon's base movement speed, yeah? Something better to use, at least, than Supersonic+...

Anyway, we need to try to reach some conclusions here, both about if the Blood Moon feat is usable or not, what we should scale from if it is not, and if the light arrows should be treated as lightspeed.

@Doc

Azzy addressed that above with:

"There are four quantum numbers that identify the "address" of a particle; principal, azimuthal, magnetic, and spin. The light was never "stopped". It was translated to other particles to change their energy levels and address, when the energy levels are restored to their previous state, they necessarily emit a (or some) photons of light of the exact same properties (wavelength and frequency) as the original light that was converted. And they could do nothing else but convert to the exact amount of energy then reconvert to the exact type of light. So the light (energy) was conserved in both processes. Saying it was "stopped" leaves a completely wrong impression."

The unnatural properties were:

  • Bulging
  • Cutting off after a certain point
  • Being reflectable by non-reflective surfaces
  • Moving slower than the laser pointer they use beforehand
  • Having physical weight
@Perp

There's better feats than that Ganon one. Notably the Giants theoretically being able to run at Mach 129.

@DocAnimeTheory

Please avoid quoting large blocks of text, as it spams the page.

I have adjusted your posts to the proper format.

@Doc

Article says they slowed the light, which is different from trapping and containing it.

@Antvasima

Would you like it if I made a post explaining where we're currently at in this thread and then linking it to everyone involved to get everyone on the same page?

That might be an idea. This thread has turned very long, and the participants seem to have lost track of it, so we are not getting anywhere. The first post should link to this topic however.

A new thread has been made for this topic here.

Whatever that was said in this thread can be summarized, but it seems to be extremely long. Moving this topic to a new thread.
