How? It's just a power of hers. Kurumi landed several fatal blows, and she just came back a few moments later. Simple as that.

I also am curious how Yamato would hurt Kotori when her dress is only hurt by reality warping/messing with physics. How could he out hax that?

Those are for Combat Realizer Units are were derived from Mio's Ain Soph. The Astral Dresses should work completely different from the Combat Realizer Units.

CRU =/= Astral Dresses. The CRUs are battle armour with weapons which lets the AST and others by mimicking the reality warping attacks of the spirits. The Spirits aren't hurt by conventional means.
