why not? Even if I go by the stats from both pages Ichigo still stomps, he is continent with bankai, and unlike artorias can attack him from the air, meaning Artorias wont even touch him.

So you are restricting his bankai? Okay well he still easily takes this, he just spams his getsugas and juujishous from the air and destroys artorias. Then he can also try and use Gran Rey Cero, unless he is prohibited to use that aswell.

How does Artorias even harm him? I'm guessing Artorias not seeing him has been cast aside, still... how exactly does Artorias hurt him, when Ichigo can Use projectiles from the air, and Artorias can neither fly, or use anything to reach Ichigo.

Not too mention, that Ichigo has never shown any direct control of Blut, so the likelihood of it showing up is at least spotty. Not saying it won't or can't, but it isn't what I would deem reliable.

Also, this is in character, so Ichigo isn't going to spam Getsugas. He'll engage Artorias in close quarters.

He has two weapons , Artorias is forced to fight with his opposite arm and one is already broken, and he swings a heavy greatsword. Ichigo's balanced hollow powerup (its still his true shikai) grants him Gran Rey Cero, and Getsuga+Cero, which makes Artorias tank something too strong for him. Artorias also wont get the chance to powerup, since even something as weak as a lightning spear can completely cancel him out, and this is highly likely to happen since Artorias takes so long to powerup.

Also, I don't think Ichigo can use Gran Rey Cero though since he need to go merged hollow form first, but yeah he still able and willingly to use Getsuga Tenshou, he used it against female sternritters and Yhwach so spamming Getsuga is still in his character. I think.

@C2 I mean Ichigo spams Getsuga as often as he does CQC, hell Ulqiorra told him to spam it and he said he was going to do it anyway

Anyway it seems both are evenly matched but I'd still give it to Ichigosince he can still potentially boost his dura and sword strikes as opposed to only Sword Strikes. Does Artorias have any dura buffing abilities?

@Unholy Since this is TS Ichigo he doesn't have his merged hollow state or abilities, it's a separate key

well,dark souls characters are star level and solar system level cause they can use they power to maintain the existence of the sun or some shit soo there is that.

I defeated Artorias as an average human while sitting on a chair staring at my monitor and fat rolling everywhere. Ichigo wins.


On a serious note, I vote Ichigo because I can't see how gran ray cero or even a getsuga won't land a finishing blow to someone with country level durability.

Yea its a country level attack vs counter level durability, but aside from Artorias' ability to buff, Ichigo can definatly eventually get through with the constant use of getsugas because of Ichigo's higher stamina. That and despite Ichigo having a limited arsenal, he certainly has more durability through blut which further cements the idea that Ichigo will be able to take more damage than Artorias while Artorias will dish out comparable damage, but lack the stamina or other forms of durability to survive.
