Gin vs Byakuya

So from this distance, Gin will have a bit of trouble dealing with Byakuya's swordsmanship and in terms of Shikais, Byakuya should be superior with his better versatility. Byakuya also likely has better Kido so he has the advantage of Rikujokoro to seal him. If Gin whips out Buto Renjin though, it would give Byakuya trouble since it hits pretty hard. At the same time, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi is much faster than Gin, so he'll have trouble keeping up.
I'd give it to Byakuya, better versatility, he's in close range so he has the advantage of better cqc than Gin, and he has his Bankai which will give Gin trouble in terms of dodging since he won't be fast or skilled enough to deflect all of them like Ichigo.

Yeah, but Buto Renjin is a combo stab, it's not really gonna help him against Senbonzakura Kageyoshi.

Not immediately unless he sees his opponent as worthy, which unlike Ichigo and Renji, Gin is a captain, so he'll take things more seriously than he did with Ichigo.

Byakuya should take this pretty handily. He has the AP advantage by scaling to the same Ichigo that bullied Yammy whereas Gin got pressed and harmed by a Tōshirō who Yammy shrugged off with ease. Speed wise, they should be relative at worst, in Byakuya’s favor according to the Captain stats in the Databook (90 vs 80 mobility iirc).
Shinso has the range advantage in terms of swords but Senbonzakura is far more versatile and Byakuya also spams AOE kido. Bankai is really the only thing that gives Gin an advantage but Kageyoshi will bury him if he even tries to attempt Buto Renjin.
Voting Byakuya since Gin really only has one valid wincon to get him but at best, he will also get dunked on by his opp’s Bankai.

Byakuya has AP advantage but Durability is same for both as for databook. Gin has stamina Advantage over Byakuya.
