I don't see why being unable to be seen means Knack will randomly start nuking everything in sight, and even if that happens there's still the Etherium phase shift. Assassins scale to space marines, who were barely injured by the thing they tanked, so while Knack has the advantage in AP I don't think it'll be a thing that's too overwhelming.

Mind explaining how it helps against a target unable to be detected that can shift out of reality at a whim

The assassin needs to shift back in to attack correct? Knack negates most of the assassins hax and has the ap advanage. While the Assassins is more skilled I have trouble buying the idea they can avoid all knacks techniques and pull off a victory and further? All the reasons listed above.

Has anyone done an alex mercer vs these Assassins or would that be a total stomp?

Why can't they avoid all Knack's techniques though? They're no stranger to fighting things that could instantly kill them if they just got a hit, and that isn't even the case here.

Depends if Viruses are considered to have souls, though the animus speculum could burn his mind out regardless. There is a version that's essentially 40k alex mercer that killed some culexus assassins but that character was just kinda insane in general.

What I figured thought Id ask, callidus might be fun though. :p

edit outside culexus, he seems to do better.

As for avoiding all knacks techniques its not impossible Im just not sure its enough for it to sway me. Im not overly invested in either series though so I could be convinced, its just at the moment the only thing culexus seems to having going for them is skill.

I heard about that from my understanding it was basically a different version of alex, though Ive heard some people call it a worse version on other sites. Why is that?
